Here I am!! Aaaaaand I'm late!! Oh goodness first day on the job and I'm already messing up!! Where the hell is room 109??? I run down the fiftieth hallway today and make a right... Nope still not this way. Oh you stupid annoying shoes get the hell off my feet!!! I hate high heels!!! Why I'm wearing them I don't know!! I was told to be spontaneous so here is my spontaneity!! if your wondering I was supposed to meet my Aunt in room 109 of this big ass building in California so she could explain to me what exactly I'm here for!! I'm eighteen years old and I came to California for work experience. Ive been trying to find a job for two weeks now and suddenly my Aunt offered me a job. She said it would be perfect for a light hearted girl like me. Me being as stupid as I am accepted and asked her what exactly the job was. She told me to meet her et her office and she'd explain so I came to the office and now I'm lost! I did ask the old lady at the front desk who in my opinion looked more like Dumbledore than anything else...yes anything not anyone that would be too kind, for directions but she just grunted and pointed at the hallway behind her desk thingy.
Where the bloody hell am I!! OH SWEET MOTHER OF JESUS THANK YOU!!! I finally found the door i'm looking for after the fifty eighth hallway! I slam the door open and come face to face with a green eyed boy. He looked annoyed with something but my oh my was he gorgeous. He side stepped away from me and grumbled something under his breath....he seems nice...
"Emily! Finally!! So are you ready for your first job??"
My Aunt Jane was sat behind her desk, a huge smile plastered on her face. She looked mad like she had just had an argument.
"Jane! Enough!! I don't need a break okay!! I knew from the beginning what it would be like to be a pop singer and I just have to live with everything that's going on!!" the green eyed boy exclaimed suddenly looking very angry.
"Harry please!! Stop being a child!! You are on a two month break okay so now you are going to do what management wants and you are going to enjoy it!!' Jane replied, her face getting red all over the place.
"I don't even understand why this girl" Harry says pointing to me, "is here!!"
I cleared my throat and spoke up, "if it makes you feel any better neither do I.." I smiled up sheepishly at him. His eyes softened but the anger was back when he looked at jane.
"Harry! At least try it out before you say no!"
"Fine I'll agree too two weeks!! ONLY two weeks. If this is boring as hell, which I'm sure it will be I'm going back to London and spending the rest of my break with the band!" Harry told the older woman.
"Fine deal!!" Jane yelled out sounding exasperated. Everyone stayed quiet for a while the two of them just glaring at each other.
"Soooo...ummm why am I here??" I asked looking at my Aunt.
"Oh right!! Well Emily I'm sure you're familiar with the band one direction??" one direction? Oh that really hot and famous boy band! Sure why not. I simply nodded my head, "Um kind of." Harry stared at me with disbelief but then he just snorted and looked away. What? Did I say something wrong??
"Anyway, this here is Harry styles and he is part of the group. They are officially on a two month break. No interviews. No concerts. No award shows. Nothing. It wasnt their choice but managements. The boys are young and we don't want all this to get to their heads. Three of the boys from the band are with their girlfriends some place exotic and the other is with his best friend in Ireland for the break. As for Harry here well he can't stay with his family because his whole town has been invaded by fans. We think it would be a good idea that Harry goes on a trip around the states with you. And it is up to you to be as fun and out of the ordinary as possible to get routine out of Harry's head. The boys are tried of having their lives planned out for them with no surprises and this is why you were hired. Your trip starts here in California and I'll give you the schedule as soon as you sign the contract saying you take full responsibility of Harry Styles. So do you accept?" Oh my. We'll that was not really what I was expecting. I'm being paid to make Harry's life an adventure. I mean I know I'm very random and OMG A BANANA!! Wait..what?? Whoops sorry I just love bananas. Okay well you know what I guess I am the man for the job!! ....or woman. It'll be fun!!
"I'll do it!!" I exclaimed. "....can I have that banana?" I say pointing to the banana on the desk.
"Sure...that's great Emily I'll go get the contract!" aunt Jane says getting up and handing me the banana.
"WHAT NOOOOO!!!" Harry suddenly dives in front of me grabbing the banana before I can and then proceeds to peeling it and shoving it in his mouth as fast as he can...and then you say I'm random? He chews and swallows and then looks at me with a cute little half smile...wait cute...what ...ppsshhhh I meant entertaining...yup that's it entertaining!
"My banana." Harry suddenly says. I just stare at him and then proceed to bursting out in fits of laughter, Harry just grins at me.
"Okay then here we are, you can just sign here!" Aunt Jane says handing me a pen.
"Okay I'm done." I say signing my name with a little smiley face next to it because why the heck not right?? I'm so happy with my smiley face that I don't realize Harry's chin is on my shoulder and he's looking down at my signature.
"You have the same smiley as Boobear...I like you already!" he smiles up at me. My cheeks get warm and I try to hide them with my hands. Im happy that his angry faze is over and that he seems like such an easy person to be with.
"I like you too my curly friend!" I say patting him onto he head.
"Okay guys well your adventure starts tomorrow, Emily you can meet me in front of this building at 10am tomorrow I'll be here with Harry. Oh and don't forget to pick up the package under your name at the front desk it'll tell you precisely what you need to do and what you need to bring. Goodbye now!" Nooooo I'm going to have to speak to dumbledore again!!
"Thanks aunt Jane bye! Oh and bye Harry get ready for the adventure tomorrow!!!
"Bye Emily!" Harry says smiling widely.
I have no idea how I'm going to pull this whole thing off...but hey all adventures have to start somewhere!!!
