The rest of my first day at Reddam went by pretty chill. I got on with my class mates pretty well. Since today was the first day no work was done. People mostly sat and chatted. We were all supposed to be uploading our textbooks and reporting any difficulties in doing so.

We also received our stationery, which I enjoyed packing up neatly in an organized order. It was practically a free day which I would have deeply appreciated if I were not surrounded by strangers.
In one of the classes I sat alone and no one bothered talking to me after the usual introduction, which was basically the what's your name, where are you from and so on.

In the rest of the lessons, one including the first one, I was bombarded by curious smiles and questions. I mostly talked with the two closest new friends that I made. Nathan and  Ray. No surprise that they are boys seeing as I get on better with the other gender. Ok... maybe I was a bit tomboy-ish. I was basically one of those tomboys who shamelessly loved pink and sometimes wore a cute skirt or dress.

However most of my closest was filled with oversized sweaters and hoodies. Basketball shorts, sweatpants, ripped jeans and any other kinds of denim, and the occasional mini shorts.

Nathan had rich chocolate skin, downturned eyes and a constant lazy smile on his slightly uneven plum colored lips. I have to admit he was cute. He was constantly brushing his waves, claiming that the school is evil for not allowing them to wear durags.

He had swag in the way he talked and held himself. He was also complaining about how long it had been since he'd had a blunt. I noticed how hard he'd try to be ghetto and if I weren't so observant, I probably wouldn't have saw through his façade.

Ray had the most beautiful golden, hazel eyes I've ever seen. He also a had a constant lazy smile, but his was more mischievous. He was blond and that too a walking breathing blond stereotype. I thought it was adorable and I could already imagine myself getting on well with the both of them.

A few minutes into the 35 minute class period, I had noticed that after meeting my two new bro's I'd completely forgotten about the Asian boy form earlier. He was sat with his own group of friends at the left back corner of the room.

I kept my my eyes on him for a bit, waiting for him to notice my stare. It seemed he was either ignoring me or he had forgotten about me.

I tried hiding my disappointment, even from myself. I did not want to acknowledge the slight hurt, I'd felt.
The rest of the classes I shared with Sandra but she only talked to me during the first two.

After that it seemed as if she didn't like the kind of company I was attracting. She didn't like Nathan and Ray, and they claimed she was uptight. I decided it would be ok to just hang with them at separate times. I figured that  I would see her later in dorms, and that we could talk then, forgetting that she was a day-scholar

During lunch break, which they called tea break (despite the fact that they don't really serve tea) I struggled a bit with finding someone to sit with. The boys were of, probably with their squad or something. Sandra was no where to be seen and I didn't feel comfortable enough with my other acquaintances, to just go over and take a seat by them.

Or maybe I just wasn't confident enough. I opted to pulling out my phone, pretending to be busy, so I wouldn't look as lonely and pathetic as I felt.

To my luck a kind soul came to my rescue. She was pretty, with a gorgeous body. You could see her curves even with her uniform on. She was very loud and I could tell that she wasn't always friendly. Her name was Tamron and she invited me to sit with her friends. There I met Ashley, who preferred to be called Ash because people made fun of him seeing as Ashley sounded like a girls name.
