Chapter 8

I felt myself in someone's arms. Opening my eyes I saw that it was one of the twins, they took me over to Haruhi 

"What were you two thinking! You could have been hurt!" Tamaki exclaimed yelling at us 

"We were trying to save those girls!" Haruhi yelled back 

"You should have waited on us," the twin said 

"Something could have happened while waiting," I told them

"We were there so we didn't something about it" Haruhi said 

"Cleo you got hurt trying to help," the twin said 

"They were going to hurt the girls I needed to do something. I've had worst anyways" everyone was surprised when I said that. Kyoya came back 

"We took those guys to the police and they've been arrested. We sent everyone back to their hotel room and sent flowers to the girls involved. You two need to be more careful" Kyoya explained 

"More careful?! Did you see them! They were harassing those girls!" I yelled at Kyoya 

"Cleo, you need to calm down" 

"Oh screw off Kaoru," I said before walking away toward our suite. I went up to the room I shared with Haruhi and sat down on the bed. 

'Just breath Cleo. Nothing got out of control. No one but you was physically hurt' I thought as I put my hands up to where that guy slapped me. I flinched as it stung. Going into the bathroom I got new clothes and took a shower. Soon after I got out Haruhi came into the room

"We're having the crawfish Honey caught tonight for dinner," she said 

"Yum sounds good," I said drying my hair and putting it in a braid then getting dressed "Ugh all I have is dresses. Mom must have gotten into my stuff" I said 

"Yours too?" looking over in Haruhi's stuff it also had only dresses I laughed at this.

Once we were dressed and ready Mori came and brought us downstairs for dinner. It was very awkward as no one was talking to each other and the atmosphere around was tense and uncomfortable. Soon everyone started to eat, apparently, when I ran off Tamaki said he wasn't talking to Haruhi. It didn't take long for Tamaki to walk off and then Kyoya

"Maybe I should learn how to protect myself," Haruhi said 

"he got to you didn't he," one of the twins said 

"Well that's not the real reason he's mad at you," other one said 

"In honesty, we were all worried about you two. You acted recklessly" the twin said 

"You guys were worried about us?" she asked they nodded 

"Why were you guys worried about us?" I asked the twins groaned 

"Haru-chan, Cleo-chan I think you guys need to apologize" Honey suggested 

"I'm sorry guys I didn't mean to make you worry about me" Haruhi apologized 

"Me too. I didn't mean for you to be worried" they quickly accepted the apology

"I'm going to apologize to Tamaki," Haruhi said getting up 

"Can you apologize to him for me too, Haruhi?" I asked she nodded as she headed off. It wasn't long after she left that I decided to leave to apologize to Kyoya for yelling at him. As I walked down the hallway he was just coming out of his room "Oh Kyoya" I said walking up to him 

"Oh Cleo why aren't you at dinner?" he asked 

"I came to say sorry, for yelling at you I mean, it's just" I sighed "I know situations like that can get out of hand quick" 

"Hm" 

"What?" 

"Oh nothing apology accepted," he said walking off 

'What was that about' I thought looking outside I saw that it was raining and then thunder 'Oh shit Haruhi' I thought before going into our room only to not find her there. I walked out of our room and heard voices in Kyoya's room. Leaning on the door I heard it was Tamaki and Haruhi's 'He's a good guy' I thought the walking off. 

When I walked back to the dining room it seemed that everyone had finished their food 

'Huh I wonder where everyone went' I thought as I saw a balcony that looked toward the beach. I walked over there and stood in the doorway watching as the rain came down and listened to the thunder in the distance

"That rains coming down hard" I heard someone say from behind 

"It is," I said looking over it was one of the twins

"Have you ever had anyone tell you two apart?" I asked 

"Only one person," they said leaning against the other side of the door 

"Who?" 

"Haruhi" 

'Impressive' I thought 

"You know you really did scare. Especially Tamaki and I" they said 

"You were scared too" they nodded 

"It could have ended worst than it did. They could have really hurt you Cleo and that--" he stopped 

"Kaoru, I know it could have ended worst. Trust me I know. And I'm sorry for yelling at you when I did. I wasn't thinking I was just really mad" I told him 

"How do you know I'm Kaoru and not Hikaru?" he said 

"Hikaru's never talked to me plus Hikaru is too much of a prankster to be this personal with anyone" I explained 

"Hm maybe I should make Hikaru talk to you more to throw you off," he said I laughed

"Doubt it" we stood there for a little bit listening to the rain

"What did you mean by you've had worst," he asked 

"I knew someone was going t ask that by your expressions," I said sighing "Let's just said I've been beaten up a few times in the past," I said 

"What by--" 

"Don't ask. Just leave it" I cut him off turning back toward the rain. I soon felt arms around me

"You don't have to worry about that when you're around us. We would never hurt you" he whispered sending goosebumps throughout my body.
