"So tell me," I said walking in front of Peyton and Dylan "Any crushes lately?" I asked they both choked
"Jeez Cleo, right off the bat," Dylan said while Peyton smirked
"I don't have one but" Dylan looked at Peyton scared "I do know someone who has one" Peyton said sneakily
"Oo spill, who is it?" I eagerly asked
"Nope not telling" Peyton snarkily dismissed I groaned
"Peyton you can't do that" I punched him "You jerk"
"Ouch" he rubbed where I punched him
"You always were such a woos. So what about you Dylan"
"What. Who--me? No. I don't have one. Why---who would I have one on" he stuttered out
"Hm," I said
"He doesn't have one," Peyton said as he walked ahead of us "Who's ready to have some fun?" for the rest of the afternoon all three of us ran around and tried to tag each other throughout the square. Eventually, we fell down on a grassy hillside laughing together
"Awe I forgot how fun it was to be with you two," I said pulling them both close
"Us too," Dylan said
"Hey Cleo, I'm doing something tomorrow but how about you and Dylan hang out together tomorrow" Peyton suggested. I looked at Dylan
"Yeah sure, I'm off tomorrow," I said Dylan smiled
"That's great," he said we laid there for a while just looking up at the sky before going back to the hotel.

I waited outside the hotel for Dylan
"Jeez, where is he?" I wondered as I looked around
"Oh hey Cleo" I heard Kaoru say walking over
"Kaoru hey!" I exclaimed "What have you been doing? I haven't seen you around much" he rubbed his neck nervously
"Oh, I and Hikaru went out and explored around the town a little. There are some pretty places around here if you--"
"Hey, Cleo sorry for making you wait. You ready?" Dylan asked dressed casually
"Yeah, I am. What were you saying Kaoru?" Kaoru's face dropped
"Nevermind, I'm late for meeting up with Hikaru. Have fun with whatever" he remarked walking off
"Did I say something?" Dylan asked I shook my head
"No, come on let's go" we decided to walk around the greenhouse garden that was filled with different types of flowers. After we got ice cream at a place next to the garden before walking along a beach nearby
"It's great to get out and walk around," I said sitting down on the fountain
"Yeah, today's a beautiful day. Not a cloud in the sky"
"Yep Haruhi's probably glad for that" I commented
"She hates thunderstorms right?" I nodded
"Yeah, she's terrified of them" after we finished out the ice scream we sat at the fountain and talked for a bit.
"Um Cleo," Dylan said nervously
"Yeah"
"I--um have eh wanted no" he muttered
"What is it, Dylan?" I asked looking at him. He took a breath and closed his eyes
"I like you!" he hastily said then looking away.
'He fucking what'
"Oh um" I looked away blushing "Were you--"
"No, I didn't give you those flowers. I wish I did though" someone for the past several days has been leaving various flowers at my windowsill and inside my room. I've asked my friends and the host club if they were doing it. They all said no.
The air around us became thick and awkward
"Peyton didn't really have something to do today did he?" Dylan shook his head
'Peyton that slick baster'
"I'm sorry if this is awkward it's just" he paused thinking "I've had a crush on you since middle school. I thought it would go away once you left but it didn't"
"Wait then were you--"
"Yes, I did. Also, Peyton did hurt him too but not as bad as me. He deserved it though after what he did to you" I hugged Dylan
"Thank you for that" he hugged back
"Thank you for that" he hugged back
"Hey" he pulled away and looked at me "No one should ever have to go through that" I smiled "I'm guessing from how you reacted. You don't like me back," he said leaning on his knees.
"Sorry Dylan you and Peyton are too much like brothers to me"
"At least you know. I've wanted to tell you but never was a good time to do it" I chuckled
"Hey, you'll find someone" he smiled
"Yeah, I guess so" we walked back to the hotel after that feeling awkward but eventually accepted that we weren't going to be anything but friends. Getting into my room I noticed there was another daisy on the doorknob. Opening the door there was more sitting on my bed, the windowsill, and in the bathroom. I picked up one up walking over to the window while twirling it
"I wish I knew who you were" I smelt the flower smiling "Thank you"
