AIRWAY

We walked through the night of broken buildings. Staying vigilant as we watch our  every corner for unwanted visitors. Flames and smokes rising from the rubbles of war. While we hear small skirmished echoing from afar.

Out of nowhere...

"Grrr...." A horrible sound echoed somewhere. And the ground shakes terribly at every step. Slow, hard and loud.

"What could it be?" A troop asked us while we stood.

"I have no idea...we saw alot of weird stuff these days do we?" A medic replied.

We feel the force of it's every step getting stronger as we hear it getting louder.

"But something big is coming, let's hide on that building" our commander told us in a low tone.

We headed towards a sturdy but abandoned futuristic tall building. The inside rooms as we roam around where out of order. We started to make a barricade on the main door then hide below windows and behind the walls. While others take there positions in top floors and other rooms.

"Both of you stay with me" the commander told us as our squad hid in a room. But we can see the happenings outside through windows.

As we hear and feel the force of foot steps coming stronger and louder. We brace our selves on what is coming.

"Sir, I think we should look..." A troop from the other line of our radios warned us.

"What's the visual?" Our commander asked. As he signaled our squad to stay near him.

"It's big...and like a gigantic lizard, do we open fire?" The troop asks from the other line.

As we wait for our leader's orders. I peek at the window what's outside. It's indeed a Gigantic lizard, or a T-rex as we call it. Full of metal armour and one giant cannon at it's back. It stood still as it aimed it cannon upward and charged its artillery gun before making a shot to I don't know where.

It was so loud that the ground shook at it's force that strikes fear in us. Asking ourselves where does this monster shooting at.

Then suddenly... It looked at our building. It opened its mouth and I saw light like plasma igniting from its throat.

"Run, now!" I yelled as I saw the warning sign. The commander made a command to evacuate to another building. But it's too late.

"Tell them to hide now!" The commander yelled again. As plasma hits our building, sending fires in most floors.

"Open fire now" one leader made a sudden command at a radio frequency. That was followed by all squads. Firing at the giant lizard. It screamed as it whip it's tail at our temporary fortress that shook the building with us. The flames where spreading around us that made others panic.

"Stay calm and move! If you wanna live you apes!" Our commander shouted this words to boost morale of our troops. Which made a "hooorah!" Battlecry simultaneously.

"Sir we need to Duck as we move. We can take cover and Breathe Easier this way." I made a suggestion to the squad. They agreed and the commander spread my word to others.

"Then we strike back, lead the way. I want every squad behind the building now!" The commander replied as he commanded the troops for safety.

We crawl at the floor as we move towards the exit located behind the building. As the monster bombards us with flames and hits from its tail. We managed to exit the building. Looking at our fellow troops gathering in one place then head towards the subways then hid in one of the trains.

"We cant fight this giant with our weapons. We need greater firepower to kill this lizard, our guns didn't made any damage at all." One of the squad leaders speak to the entire group remaining due to few others who died in the flames.

"Even rpg's won't work againts this lizard. It's armour is thick." another made a statement.

"There must be weakspot to it" I made a suggestion while looking around. Noticing the lights blinking with each force.

"Something is not right" I made another statement. The commander made signals for the remaining troops to get ready.

Then from far distant of the tunnel. Humanoid enemies come rushing towards us. The commander orders to open fire at them. As we fire our enemies as many as we can.

One enemy kicked a grenade with light blue flashing towards us. Which accidentally enters the mouth of one of my comrades. The trooper panicly tries to vomit it in fear of being blown to pieces as he is unable to breathe.

Knowing his Airway is blocked. I rushed to him quickly, stood behind him. Then placed both my closed hands just above his stomach. Quickly pull his abdomen in as fast and strong as I can repeatedly.

Fortunately the Hemlick's Manuever worked that he vomited out the grenade. And it fell in my hand as I feel it slippery.

Suddenly an enemy at me from behind my patient therefore I ducked him down ontime to save him.

"Get down!" commander yelled as the troops try to save me.

But it's too late...

Yet instantly, I took the grenade, pull it's pin as I made a fist.

"Eat this!" I made battlecry as I hit my enemy with a punch as I placed the grenade inside its mouth. Then I pushed my attacker back to the horde before it blew them together that made the tunnels shook.

Then everyone was silent, as I watched them all, wondering why are they staring at me.

"What the hell?!" Everyone made that expression as they were shocked at the sudden events.

"What? Is there something wrong?" I asked them.
