7 Minutes in Heaven (NaruSasu)

Naruto walked down the street bobbing his head to the beat of the music blasting through his headphones. He quietly hummed the song, letting the music take over him. The song came to an end and the next one began. Naruto's eyes lit up as Talking to the Moon by Bruno Mars started blasting in his ears. He let the music take over and began dance-walking towards the school. He knew people were judging him but he didn't care. He suddenly stopped and did a spin. As he finished spinning he made direct eye contact with a certain raven he started avoiding yesterday. Naruto quickly adverted his eyes and walked normally into the school.

Once the blonde reached his locker he took out his earphones and disconnected his music. He sighed as the image of Sasuke crossed his mind. Stupid bastard. He thought as he angrily grabbed his textbooks.

"Whats wrong baby?"

"It's like he's constantly on my mind Kiba and it pisses me off."

"All this just from being in a closet with him?"

Naruto turns to his best friend and rolls his eyes, "you know I liked him before and it's not that we were just in the closet, it's that he didn't push me away."

Just before Kiba can respond Neji and the others appeared. They all make their way to first period and take their seats in the back. They laughed and talked before class started.

"So are we still going to the carnival tonight with Suigetsu and his group?" Shikamaru asked as he played with Chojis hair.

"I don't care what we do as long as I'm not home." Sai responds.

"We already told him we would go so we should." Neji says as he looks at Naruto.

"I agree, lets just go and if we don't like it we can always leave early."

The others nod in agreement and sat forward as soon as the teacher walked in.

"Lets begin on chapter 8 page 20."

"Why are these classes so damn long, I swear I'm going to lose my mind."

"Please, there's not much to lose anyways."

"Why are you so mean to me Sasuke, is it because I'm not your ocean eyed boy, you know I'm starting to get a little jealous."

Sasuke turns towards his best friend and smack him on the head. Suigetsu lets out a small laugh and rubs the back of his head.

The raven had told Suigetsu how Naruto has been acting and neither of them can find the reason for the sudden change.

"Are you sure you didn't do anything to him?"

"Other than every fight I started...no."

"Maybe he's still upset about your last fight, I mean you did call him a faggot."

Suddenly realization hit Sasuke like a truck. He never apologized for using a slur he had no right to use. But wouldn't it be weird if I apologized, it's not like we're friends or anything...I just won't say anything.

Naruto's POV

That stupid dick still hasn't apologized for calling me a fag. I really hate his guts, always looking down on me when we both know I overpower him in every way.

"Hey guys, how's it going?" I jump back as Suigetsu appears out of nowhere with an annoyed looking Sasuke next to him.

"Hey, what time does the carnival start tonight?"

"Like around 8pm but we won't go until 9."

I nod and look at Sasuke. It's obvious he's trying to avoid eye contact with me and for some reason that just pisses me off more. Every one else in our groups seem to get along just fine, it's only us who always seem to be butting heads. Just last week we couldn't even be in the same room together without one of us getting angry and now we're going to the carnival just because our friends are all buddy buddy with each other.

"I heard you guys work in some ramen shop near by, maybe we could go there before the carnival to grab a bit."

"Yea, I'm sure the owner would love if we brought in some more business."

"But Teuchi said we're banned from the shop if it's not for work, you know, because of that one time Naruto-"

"Shut up shut up shut up, okay we can go somewhere else," I immediately cut off Sai and punch him on the arm. "I thought we all agreed we wouldn't talk about that in mixed company."

"What happened, what did Naruto do?" I look at Suigetsu who had an excited look on his face, like when you tell a kid you got them a gift.

"No no no, we're not going to talk abou-"

Sai pushes me out of the way with a sly smile on his face and begins to talk quickly.

"Well one time when we went on our day off Naruto was- oof!"
