just in case i become a hero of my times and people want to learn more about me so they look through my accounts and find this, ill make their job easier and introduce myself

i am ess [like the letter, because my name starts with that letter, but more interesting]

im not going to tell you how old i am because if i am a hero theyd know my birthday

then from the date in the title, they could trace how old i am when i write this

i am in high school right now

but virtual high school

because the world has been overcome by a deadly virus for the past 8 months

anyway, on to the present day

i had a check-in w my high school counselor and i was extremely nervous at first but with the power of keeping my camera off i could feel less conscious and i think we had a nice little talk

my bio teacher, for the fifth time i think, was screensharing during a quizizz and switched tabs, thinking that we wouldnt be able to see

but we could

ive accidentally seen my friends moms email to him, teachers slack messages to him, and today another students email to him about the outrageous project he gave us

other than that, i havent made a single new friend since online school started, which i guess is fine because i can text the friends i dO have, except i think theyve been meeting up frequently but without me because my parents are both doctors, and my dad comes in contact with patients with the virus every day [and even after 8 months none of us have experienced symptoms or tested positive]

bUt in math, i think this girl [who i will not name for privacy reasons, along with everyone else's names] mAybe wants to talk to me??

like, in math theres this funny question we have to answer in the chat and she always replies to my response..

so today i responded to hers and we talked a little!! [but though chat]

ive only seen her in person once, when we all had to go to school to take a psat

[i think shes coming into a fashion phase, too, so thatd mean i have two fashion friends!!]

im not going to lie, at first, i didnt really like her, but i really had no reason to

maybe i was jealous that shes so smart

she is though i envy her

or maybe its just because ive stopped studying..

either way, shes smart and kinda cool i think, too :)

so the next time i see her i will befriend her! >:D

i think thats all for now, ill try to only have one log per every day i decide to write because i also have a journal i like to write in
