Your POV

My eyes shoot open once I felt strong enough to. The sedatives wore off, making me fully control my body now. The first thing I looked at was the soldier, just to make sure he was keeping his promise. Thankfully he was still next to me, a book in his hands. Once he noticed that I was awake, his concerned eyes fell on me.

"How are you feeling? I was dizzy when I first woke up, do you need any water?" the soldier stutters out.

"I feel fine actually, I just want to sit up." I say. "does it feel uncomfortable?"

"Yes, but once Bruce does final touchups the uncomfortable feeling will be gone."

The soldier helps me sit up, letting my legs hit the floor. Cautiously I stretch out my arms, trying to see the new features of them. Bruce comes up to me, holding a few screwdrivers. He looks at me for consent to touch my arms, I nod. This man only wants to help me, he got rid of the Hydra arms. For all, I know there could be a tracker in them, so this is safer for me and the people in this building.

Bruce takes about thirty minutes with the screwdrivers and my arms. The soldier watched over his shoulder, making sure that nothing goes wrong. I felt safe with him, he was my protector and someone that I can put all my trust in. He has been with me from the start.

"Alright (y/n), you are all ready to go. If you still feel uncomfortable just come back to me and I will see what I need to fix up." Bruce pats my back.

"Thank you," I look up to the older man. "I mean it."

"It's great having you back (Y/n), I can't wait for what the future brings."

The soldier grabs my new arms, pulling me to my feet. I take this time to stretch out the new metal I call my arms. There were small noises and the metal adjusts to the angle I want to move it towards.

"Tony is going to bring you to the fighting cage once you are comfortable here. There is no rush, we just want to make sure you are safe and comfortable," Bruce says from behind me.

I nod over my shoulder as the soldier pulls me back to the elevator. Once the doors closed, the soldier turns to me. His fingers hold my chin as he makes me look into his brown eyes. He brings his forehead against mine, "I will make everything that I have done to you right."

Staring back at him I ask, "You didn't do anything to me."

"Yes! Yes, I did. I ruined your life-"

"Don't say that, please. What has happened, has happened. I can't remember a life without you, and I don't want to ever go back to it."

"I hate myself for the things I have done to you-"

The doors to the elevator open, revealing the kitchen. The soldiers' hands drop from my face, leaving me alone in the elevator as he meets up with the other people in the room. Cautiously I keep close to him, my hand holding onto the back of his shirt. He finds two empty seats at the table, sitting down. Watching what he does, I sit right next to him.

Someone from behind me places a plate in front of me. This is something I was unsure about. What sat in front of me looks like potatoes and steak. Something that looks real, and not slop like at Hydra. Happily, I dig in, excited to try real food.

Once I was done the same person that handed me the food, took it away from me. Quietly I say a 'thank you'. Once the soldier was done he gets up, "I will be right back."

Awkwardly I clasp my hands together, not feeling safe without the soldier. I think the girl in the room noticed, "Hey (y/n). How are you holding up?"

"Your Natasha, right?" I ask.

"Yeah!"

"I am doing alright, just happy I found the soldier."

"He is something special to you huh?"

"Yeah! He was the only friendly person when I was with Hydra. He was the only male that didn't touch me in my private areas."

The whole dining room went silent as I look at Natasha. Once I realized the whole group in the room was staring at me, I bowed my head in embarrassment.

"You were raped?" Stark asks from the end of the table.

"Huh?" I ask.

"You were raped, by who?"

"I don't know what that word means."

"How many times did people touch your private areas?" Natasha asks me with concerned eyes.

"Well, it was about ten times a week at least. Once the soldier was gone, it happened multiple times a day."

The door to the dining room opens up, revealing the soldier. My face lightens up once he places his arm on my shoulder, "What is going on?"

Stark gets up, pulling the soldier out of the room again. Natasha takes me this time, bringing me to the elevator. She hits the elevator button for the floor Stark first took me on, the same level as my room. Finding my room has gotten easier, only because I remember the markings on the door. Plus my name that I remember is on the door.

Quickly I shut myself in my bedroom, not talking to Natasha. Honestly, I don't even know if she wanted to talk. All I know is that I don't know if I can trust her. So far I only trust Stark, Bruce, and the soldier.

Throwing back the covers I crawl into the enormous bed. This is the most comfortable thing  I have ever laid on. There is no way a guard will ever give me own one of these in my cell. So this is a luxury for me.

Happily, I enclose myself with the blanket, enjoying the softness of the bed. That was until the bedroom door opens, the soldier quickly entering before closing the door behind him. Concern fills his eyes as he sat on the edge of the bed.

"Hey doll," the soldier smiles down at me.

"What's up?" I ask, grabbing his hand.

"Everything that has happened back at Hydra, just know it will never happen again. Okay? Everyone in this building cares for and loves you so much."

"Okay?"

"If you ever need to talk to anyone, I will always be the one to listen."

"I know."

"Good, now scoot over. I cannot have a normal sleep without you near me."
