Bucky's POV
I didn't know how to control the situation I was in. My knee just couldn't stop bouncing as I faced the whole team across the table. All of their eyes were on me as Tony talked to them. Natasha somehow was twirling a knife in her hand as her gaze tightened on me. I mean I could easily turn the knife against her with my skills, but I can't. Natasha is someone I need to trust.
"Steve, you haven't said a word man. You are making me anxious." Tony says as he leans against my chair.
"There isn't anything that I want to say." Captain says, arms crossing.
"How about, what do you think?"
"I think that I want to go to sleep. I've spent so much waking hours with (y/n) in the past, only for her to turn on me. Not to mention my best friend is the one that took her from me. I'm over it Stark. There is no use in trying to help this problem."
Steve gets up and leaves the room. I mean I don't blame him. I took his girl away, changed her whole life, and then want to save her from the place I brought her to.
"Okay." Natasha says getting up. "I will help you, only because she is my best friend. But before we do anything, I get to punch you in your perfect face. Got it? This doesn't mean I forgive on what you did to her though."
"Yes ma' am." I say also getting up.
Tony stands back as Natasha approaches me. My heart thumped as the woman's hand whacked my face. Out of anger her hit made me fall over a bit, that surprised me. Once I got back to my feet, she hits me again, in the same spot.
"Sorry, but you deserved that." Natasha shrugs.
"I totally understand." I say, grabbing my cheek.
Once the team leaves with satisfied looks on their faces, I let out a sigh of relief. Tony follows the group, leaving me with Bruce. He was flipping through a stack of papers before he looks at me. The papers were a distraction for the team, he wanted to talk to me. I just knew it.
"You probably didn't think that persuading the team would be easy, didn't you." Bruce asks.
"A little bit, yeah." I agree. "It just surprises me a lot. I know what a I did was something really really bad, them wanting me help me fix what I did amazes me. I know I have to make it up to them some how."
"Bucky. The reason they are really doing this is for (y/n). This tower just hasn't been the same without her. You don't know how hard it is to wake up every morning, to not meet her smile. The halls just aren't fun because she used to dance down them like it was a rave or something. Sunday mornings were my favorite because you can always her her laugh from the kitchen as she creates breakfast for us. Bucky, this girl is the one thing we have to feel normal. She makes us feel like a family, even though some of us have done bad things. Also that some of us have alternate bodies, but we don't talk about that. This team will do anything to get that girl back, and having you hear is one final push. We were about to give up."
"What do you mean?"
"We tried finding her, but all we found were dead ends. Wanda tried to hijack a agents mind for your location, but even he didn't know. You guys were off the radar, and it was heartbreaking. Once Wanda came home with that news, we kinda gave up. That was until you guys came on the news from your newest killings. Tony had a plan, and he never dropped his hope for finding her. Then that's when you showed up, anyways you know all that. No use in telling you what you already know. Bucky, it's good having you. So thank you for coming back down to your senses."
"Yeah, lets just home that (y/n) can do the same. She is going to be different than me."
"I understand that, but I believe anything is possible."
The door opens, making Bruce and I both turn towards the door. Tony pops his head in, his eyes landing on me, "Let me show you to your room, welcome to the team man."
