Katsuki looked around the room, it was him, Kaminari, Midoriya, Todoroki, Aoyama, and Monoma.
"A few others were to busy to join us. The others are shinsou, who's always busy commanding over his army, and present mic." Midoriya started with a sigh, motioning for Katsuki to take a seat on the floor along with everyone else.
"So. The first course of action is that we-"
"And who said you could take charge?" Katsuki interrupted with a snarl.
"Oh please. And you could you better?"
"With the way you where fighting earlier, hell yea!"
The two sent death glares at each other, "h-how about we, um... w-work together?" Monoma interjected in a panic, instantly regretting it as the glares where set on him.
"Midoriya. Bakugou. Monoma is right on this one. If we want to figure it out then we have to work together" kaminari's said in a stirn tone, todoroki nodding along with a wide and unwavering smile.
"YEA! C'mon guys! Team work! YIPPIE!"
"Shut up!" Midoriya and bakugou said in unison. Todoroki falling back into a fit of giggles.
"Ugh. I hate this... but if we must." Midoriya concluded.
Bakugou hesitated, he knew it was the right path but these bunch of assholes would be hell to work with. But... then again if he wanted to get home... "fine. But only 'cus I have too!"
"But first..." Katsuki paused, taking in the room and everyone within. "I'd like to know know why, you of all people, decided to help me get back. Your all always complaining about how much a baby he is and how much you hate him, but clearly you would do a lot to get him back."
Suddenly, everyone went quite. Thinking it over in there heads before frowning.
"Bakugou is like a younger brother to all of us. The whole class really. And I think... we miss him?" Kaminari responded. Everyone gave a reluctant nod, except todoroki who was nodding enthusiastically.
Katsuki stared. They... they were kidding right? "Are you serious?" He asked in disbelief.
"Yea. Why wouldn't we be?"
"That's not how you treat someone. Acting like their a piece of shit, nothing but a toy or stepping stone! The hell's wrong with you?"
"Is that not how you treat someone you care about...?"
"THE FUCK!? NO! WHY WOULD YOU THINK IT IS?"
"Because that's how we were raised... we were protecting him and trying to make him stronger so he wouldn't get hurt so easily..."
And suddenly, it made sense to katsuki. That's how he had been with Deku. Ever since learning he was quirkless, Katsuki made it his own goal to make izuku stronger and tougher, both emotionally and physically. He didn't want Izuku to become a hero because otherwise he would have been hurt. And he simply helped the only way he knew how, like his mother he had given tough love to the other. But as Katsuki grew older, the line between tough love and abuse blurred together. And it wasn't until UA that he realized just how bad he had fucked up.
Not to mention the abuse that everyone in this room besides him faced. Sure, Katsuki's mom gave him a few slaps on the head, was a bit tough and whatnot. But she had never bruised him or did anything that would actually hurt him, both emotionally and physically.
But here... everything was inverted. Looking at Inko, Deku's mother, she had been such a kind and caring person, a second mother to him really. But here... he didn't even want to imagine his inverted aunt.
"No. That's not how you treat someone you care about. Instead of making him stronger your beating him down, breaking him and not giving him enough time to fix himself back up. No wonder he doesn't want to fucking come back" Katsuki scoffed, a raging storm of anger, sympathy, pity, sadness, and guilt welling up within.
"And how would you know he doesn't want to come back?" Midoriya asked, narrowing his eyes at the black-head.
Katsuki's expression darkened, a bitter glint in his eyes. "Because we were offered the chance to return to our homes. But while I tried to get through, He ran away."
