It was the blinding light that tore through the window that woke Mayu up the next day. With a groan Mayu slowly opened his eyes but them them close quickly. A massive headache soared through his head and most of his body. Mayu tried to figure out what happened but ended with a blank.

his entre body froze. His eyes shot opened and he took a frantic look around. This was not his room. He looked at his covered body only to find himself naked underneath. Mayu's mind went in complete overdrive and hyperventilation. Paranoia and panic filled his mind and his body began to shake.

He felt something move beside him and his head whipped to the side. He saw Leo's figure lying on the bed beside him with nothing but a small blanket covering his also naked body. He was lying on his back, a little tilted towards Mayu. He looked peaceful, with his white hair covering his closed eyes and his mouth slightly opened.

Mayu took a shaky deep breath. Then another and another until his beating heart slowed to normal speed. It was only Leo. Leo would never hurt him, Mayu was sure of it and that alone relaxed him enough to start thinking clearly. But the more he calmed down, the more he started to regret it. He looked at Leo a second time, only this time the pieces molded together. His naked body. Leo's naked body. Both in the same bed.

"Fuck!" Mayu swore and mentally hit himself. How could he have let this happen?

Slowly and very quietly, Mayu got out of bed without waking the other boy up. He made his way around the room and picked up his scattered clothes. He made sure to keep an eye on the sleeping Leo everywhere he went. But he never woke up. By the looks of his misplaced clothes, Mayu assumed they had a wild night.

Once dressed, Mayu tip-toed out of the room and carefully closed the door behind him with one last glance inside the room. Leo really looked peaceful with his entire body relaxed and soothed.

He pushed down the sudden guilt feeling that was slowly creeping in his mind. This was not the time to feel that way. Mayu continued to walk through the party debris, garbage and passed out bodies. He walked down the stairs and searched the rooms until he found his winter coat and stepped outside in the ever cold winter. They were approaching March fast and the weather was ever slowly getting warmer.

'Now what?' Mayu thought. He didn't want to walk all the way to his house, especially with a cracking headache that made his eyes squint in pain. Maybe he could borrow Leo's bicycle, if he had one, and bike back. He would give it back to him someday, naturally.

Mayu walked to the farm garage. It didn't look as if it had been plowed and therefore Mayu had to plow through the almost knee high snow so he could see through the window.

"Are you looking for something?" a voice startled him from behind. Mayu looked around and stared weary at an older woman who clearly took care of her body. Even though the layers of clothes, Mayu could see that the lady was fit, just like all the other farmers Mayu had come across since he arrived here. The older woman had white hair and dark brown eyes and was about half a head smaller than Mayu.

"Can I help you?" the woman asked again when Mayu stayed silent.

"I need to get home, but I have no car" Mayu said.

"Ah you're Mei's kid, correct?" the lady said. Mayu nodded. "Come on, ill drive you"

Still unsure, Mayu followed the older lady to a giant pick-up truck. Mayu had to hop on a step to be able to get in. Unfortunately the truck had not been running because it was almost as cold inside as outside, except for the wind. Mayu bled on his cold hands to warm them up when the lady sat on the driver's seat and started the engine. The truck roared to life.
