Without You

Don't say, it was always my fault.
You were always the one, lost in your own thoughts.
You told me some rough stuff,
Then told me to catch a bus.
Coming back here, brought back a few memories.
Boy, I sure wish I could say it was all just a dream.

Going to the places I went with you,
Had me questioning if it was all true.
The way you touched me,
Left me curious about how to breathe.
That arch of your eyebrow, with the sharpness to your smile,
Sparked that feeling in me that was once, both alive and wild.

My love, what went wrong?
Could it have been the broken harmony, to our song?
Was it the way I tried to say,
You had forgotten about our dates?
I let you express every ounce of what you were feeling,
All I wanted was for you to believe me.
What we kept fighting over,
Wasn't worth losing you as my lover.
