Matsu has started attending Hashima High School as a freshman.
He hates the fact he has to take his wooden version of his kamuy to school.
Of course, for safety. The school didn't allow real weapons inside the school.
Matsu knew that yet he despised it. The wooden kamuy was too light for his taste. He was more used to the heaviness and power of his real kamuy.
It's better than nothing though, since he's a sword bearer. {An individual that activates his/her mana using a type of sword}
◇ Lunch Break
Holding the string of his bento bag on his left grasp, Matsu walks outside the main school building. He hasn't been in this school for much long and all he does is train himself at lunch time.
Matsu sets off to his favorite spot to resharpen his skills.
He draws his wooden kamuy from the sheath on his right hip. He stares at it, still walking,
"I wonder what I'll do next."
He swings the kamuy to the right, getting a bit enthusiastic,
"Maybe I could swing four-hundred times. No, five-hundred!"
He leaves his kamuy dormant,
"I already did that yesterday. Maybe practice my spells?"
He grits his teeth and swings to his left,
"Yes! That's perfect! That way I'll be much stronger!"
Feeling the fire of his resolve, he swings to his right more swiftly and fiercely.
*Bonk*
Matsu stops after feeling an unpleasant vibration from his kamuy. He then hears someone fall on the grass. Shifting his eyes to the right, Matsu gazes at a girl rubbing her forehead.
"Ow!"
Oops...Matsu thought, realizing he swung at her.
He sheaths his kamuy and swiftly steps towards the fallen girl still rubbing her forehead,
"O-oh...I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"
Matsu lends his hand over the girl sitting straight up. She stares at that hand, resting her own over her head.
The girl's hair resembled a silver color. She was long haired; it reaching close to her chest. She looked to be a first year, having an innocent expression over her face.
After staring at Matsu's hand, her gaze changes to the surrounding students.
Many were around them. They were not paying any mind to Matsu and the girl. But that many students around her—this was her chance.
Before Matsu could speak about her stalling situation, the girl was the first to yell out words,
"How dare you!"
She takes off her innocent expression and slaps away Matsu's hands.
He steps back a little, holding his hand,
"Wha- What's with you?"
The silver-haired girl rises to her feet after glancing at the surrounding people's attention.
"You hit me!"
"I-I'm sorry. It was an accident."
"An apology won't be enough! Now prepare yourself brat!"
"...Heh?"
The raged girl glances at her surroundings once more before pointing straight towards Matsu,
