It was later that night, both Sarah and Cole had left. Olive was curled up in her bed dressed in simply a sports bra and sweat pants, cause y'know a girl's gotta be comfy. Anyways, she heard her phone ping and she yawned picking it up. Her vision was a bit blurry as she was tired. "does that say.. Owen?" She said confused, pulling the phone closer to her face so she could see better. "oh my god it does." She clicked the notification and read his text, a smile slowly forming on her face from excitement since she hadn't talked to him in over a year.

Hey Liv, it's been a
while, text me when you
see this :)

Oh my god hey
Owen, you're right
it's been so long :(

Olive smiled at her screen like an idiot for about five minutes before she snapped out of it and set her phone down, smiling as she buried her face into her pillow. Her cheeks were a bit red, obviously she had feelings for Owen but she was too scared to admit them, would she even get the chance to even admit them? Who knows. She hopes one day she might, but with the distance that's come between them she's not sure if she will or not.

Olive had eventually fallen asleep. The next morning Olive had slept in, waking up late. She had a plane to catch soon as she would be going to LA for a school project with some other school friends. She quickly grabbed her suitcase and changed into just some simple clothing, light washed ripped jeans, and a black crop top. They were comfy, but cute. She rushed out the door to her car, quickly heading to the airport.

Once she had arrived to the airport she met up with Sarah, Sarah wad going on the trip as well which Olive was so relieved to hear as Olive didn't have many friends outside of her and Sarah's friendship. They soon boarded the plane, on their way to Los Angeles. Olive was excited to be going to LA as she knew Owen was there, she hoped maybe sometime, somehow she would bump into him in LA.

Meanwhile, Owen was in his apartment sleeping peacefully until Charlie barged in and jumped on the bed repeatedly trying to wake up Owen. Owen was exhausted as he threw the pillow at Charlie, knocking Charlie off the bed. "dude, wake the fuck up! we're in charge of the tour around the college for those college students from New York today." Charlie said jumping back up on the bed. "huh?" Owen said sitting up and rubbing his eyes sleepily.

"did you seriously forget? we're giving some college students from New York a tour of our college today for some project they have." Charlie said looking at Owen. "I can't go, I have a huge test I need to study for. Sorry man." Owen said looking back at Charlie. "Aw, that sucks. I'll let you know how it goes." Charlie said hopping off of the bed. Owen nodded as he  sat up, yawning. Charlie and Jeremy left the room to head down to the college as the New York students would be arriving soon.

Owen reached over to his nightstand, picking up his laptop which was sitting on the nightstand. He opened it up and clicked on a few things leading him to the website he would be using to study for his test. He groaned as he quickly scrolled through the article to see how long it was. He sighed. "I don't feel like doing this right now." He shut the laptop and set it aside, swinging his legs off of the bed and hopping to his feet. He made his way over to his closet to decide what he was going to wear for the day.

Owen ended up dressing in a simple white hoodie and black jeans. He looked in the mirror at his messy hair as he hadn't done anything to it just yet, he ran his hands through his hair in hopes of easily fixing it. He pouted slightly when just running his hands through his hair didn't work and picked up his comb, brushing his hair into his normal middle parted style. He yawned before walking over to his apartment windows, opening up the curtains, the sunlight flooding his room. "oh god that bright." He said immediately turning away from the window.

He went and sat at his small desk, moving the notebook that was on the desk in front of himself and opening it up, flipping it to a blank page. "I haven't written a song in a while.." He said picking up a pencil and looking down at the paper. "what should I name it?" He said as he though aloud. "oh my god I know, I'll name it, Nothing Without You." He smiled excitedly as he loved the idea pf the name he had come up with. "I wish songwriting was easier, I have no lyrics in mind." He said frowning slightly. "maybe I should go with the boys today, I could possibly find some lyric inspiration." He said as he stood up. The boys probably hadn't gotten too far as knowing them, every time they came to Owen's apartment they stopped at the vending machines in the lobby.

He left his apartment, locking it behind himself and quickly made his way down the stairs, not wanting to miss the boys. Just as he thought, the boys were standing at the vending machines, he laughed just slightly as he walked over to the two of them. "change of plans, I'm coming. I honestly don't feel like studying right now so I'll do it after." He said as he watched the boys each get a snack from the vending machines. "Okay, we better get going then." Jeremy said as he opened up a bag of chips he had gotten.

The boys all headed off towards the college, Owen lived just a few buildings down from the college so it wasn't far. Once walking into the college Charlie looked at the big, empty space and grinned setting down the soda he had. The two boys looked at Charlie confused as Charlie then ran and attempted to a cartwheel which failed and he landed on his butt. Both Owen and Jeremy bursted out into laughter as Charlie folded his arms, sitting there pouting. "don't be a baby." Owen said teasingly as he picked up Charlie's soda and took a sip from it. "hey! that's mine!" Charlie said immediately standing up.

Charlie frowned as he took the soda from Owen, both Owen and Jeremy laughing. Soon one of the professors came and told them what they would giving a tour of. They all nodded as they listened to the professor, the professor leaving not long after. They then patiently waited for the New York student to arrive. As they all talked they heard footsteps entering the building and quiet chattering. "they're here!" Charlie said excitedly.

(the next lil bit will be both of their pov's, since they're in the same place now 👀🙈)

As Olive walked in she glanced up at the three boys who were supposed to be giving them the tour that day. Though.. one of them looked oddly familiar, she didn't put too much thought into though as she'd never been in LA before so how the hell would she know anyone here? maybe they're an instagram star or something? She shrugged it off as the group of about ten kids approached the boys.

Owen had noticed someone looking oddly familiar as well but decided to ignore it for now. The boys had started the tour and all of the kids looked around where the boys had directed them until eventually they let them roam freely for about half an our. Olive decided to go off on her own for a while, going to take a better look at an art/museum kinda room they had in the building.

Owen was checking every room making sure none of the students had wandered into any rooms they weren't supposed to be in. He stopped when he noticed the same girl that seemed familiar in the art room. He decided to he would try to go talk to her. He took a deep breath before walking in, beside the girl. "hey do I know you-" His jaw dropped as the girl turned to face him, a smile quickly plastering onto his face as he looked at her. "Liv!" He said in excitement.

"oh my god- Owen!" Olive said, smiling happily, the distance could finally be broken. Owen pulled Olive into a tight hug, Olive wrapping her arms tightly around Owen. She felt as she began to slightly tear up, this, right here, right now, was the moment she had been waiting for since the day they left each other over a year ago. Owen had began to tear up as well, he usually wasn't emotional but after keeping all those feelings to himself for so long it finally seemed like a good time to be able to let it all out.

Olive buried her face deeply into Owen's chest as Owen rested his chin on the top of Olive's head. Both of them had their eyes shut, the felt safe in this very moment, they were finally together once again after all the time they had been apart and they were so happy to be able to be in each other's arms again.
