17. I guess i have two children now

((Y/N) pov)

I stood in front of L'manberg waiting for Quackity to arrive. I had prepared two horses for us since I wanted to go exploring for a bit. I had one lead in hand patting the horse while the other one was tied to a fence.

'Hello!' said Quackity as he joined my vc.

'Hi where are you?' I smiled a bit.

'On my way.' he replied.

When he arrived he looked a bit confused at the two horses. 'I thought maybe we could go exploring?' I said no too sure. Big Q nodded and went up to the horse that was tied to the fence. I watched as he struggled to get on.

I went up behind him picking him up a bit so he could swing his leg around the horse. He finally sat down and looked at me a bit red.

'You're pretty light.' I chuckled.

I got on my horse and we started going in the prime path. 'So where are we going?' he questioned.

'There is a nice village near the flower field a bit further from my house.' I implied.

Quackity noded and we soon went off-road passing the spawn area. Quackity would occasionally get hit by a tree branch to which I would chuckle.

'So how have you been doing on the server?' I asked.

'Pretty good. My house got destroyed though. Apparently, Tommy had a problem with it being in front of his.' he frowned.

'You can live with me if you want.' I smiled.

He gasped and looked at me excited 'Are you sure?'

I just nodded at him and he shot his hands up in the air 'Ayyy I'm no longer homeless.' I laughed at his behavior.

We soon arrived at our destination. I got off my horse grabbing the lead on Quackity's leading us over to a fence. I tied both horses as villagers began to swarm us. A bunch of 'Ha's.' was fired in our directions but I ignored it. I looked at Quackity who was still sitting on the horse.

'Why didn't he get off yet?'

He looked at me a bit embarrassed. I reached my hands up so I could catch him. He hesitantly swung his leg so he was now facing me. He let go of the horse and landed in my arms. I chuckled again putting him on the ground.

He smiled at me and we started moving once again. We passed through the village with a bunch of villagers swarming us. I felt a tug on my leg looking down it was a small villager girl. She started tugging on it more and I grabbed her hand. She then started dragging me away from the pathway.

We arrived at a house. It was obvious from the outside that it was in bad shape. She opened the door for me to look inside. I went in to find half the wall missing and the roof falling apart.

'Is this your home?' I asked her.

She didn't reply with a 'Ha' like I thought she would only nodding. I picked her up walking back to find Quackity. He looked uncomfortable as the villagers kept pushing items in his face. I grabbed his hand and made my way out of the crowd to the flower field.

'Why do you have-'

'Her house is destroyed and she doesn't seem to have any parents.' I cut him off.

I put the small villager down. She ran around the field leaving us alone. 'I think I'm going to stay here for a while. L'manberg is safe and these people seem like they need help.' I smiled down at him.

He nodded in understanding. 'Do you have any food I'm starving.' he chuckled.

I took out the carpets I had in my inventory creating a small picnic area for us. I sat down dropping him some bread and steaks. The small villager girl soon came back to us and hoped in my lap. I played with her hair putting flowers in it.

'What are you going to call her?' asked big Q.

I looked at the small villager girl before turning back to him 'What do you want to call her?'

He turned away covering his face as I smiled. 'Gracilda? Nah sounds old and boring. What about Íngrid. Nah. Uhh, I'm not too good with names.' he muttered.

'How about Clarissa?' he asked finally. I noded at the choice as the girl seemed to like it too.

We ate the food I brought as the girl once again ran away to play in the field. I got up sitting down next to big Q. I pulled off the beanie he was wearing and grabbed a few flowers. He tried to grab the beanie from me but filed. I put the flowers in his hair.

I smiled at my work 'Beautifull.'

Quackity turned to me just falling into my lap and closing his eyes. I smiled down at him playing with his hair.

We were now standing in a small house I built for us to stay in. I put down a crafting bench a furnace and a chest. Quackity was sitting on the bed bored out of his mind.

'I think you should start heading back to L'manberg.' I told him.

'How am I supposed to get on and off the horse.' he questioned.

'I can help you get on but you'll have to figure out the other part yourself.' I answered.

'How long are you going to stay here?' he asked again.

'A few days, I'll help the villagers and then I'll come back with Clarissa.' I continued.

He looked at me getting up from the bed. I put down the last item in the chest and followed him out of the house.  He approached the two horses standing next to one just looking at me.

I tried to pick him up but he wrapped his arms around me giving me a tight hug. I hugged back then picked him up helping him on the horse.

I untied the horse from the fence giving the lead to Quackity. 'You know your way back right?' I asked worriedly. He nodded giving me one last wave and disappearing into the forest.

I turned back to the village grabbing materials from my inventory and getting to work.
