22. Will goes bonkers

((Y/N) pov)

Schlatt invited me to the festival, even though they knew very well I was a part of pogtopia. Apparently, they invited me because I gave them resources to help build the event.

Right now I was helping George clean the apartment. He cleaned the shelves getting rid of random trash we had laying around and I swept the floors.

I sighed finishing my work before leaving for my room. I loaded on minecraft and discord waiting for a bit. I grabbed a can of (F/S) putting it on my desk.

When I was finally in game I noticed Tommy and Wilbur in a call. I hesitantly joined not sure about what they were doing.

'-Tommy let's be villains! '

I froze not sure what I was supposed to do now.

'Can I have a minute to think Will.'

I left the call in shock. Okay, I was defiantly not supposed to be in there. I looked around the blocky house looking for Clarrise. She was sitting on the table playing with a wool block I gave her. I picked her up from the table and took her to my room placing her on the bed. Now that I was sure she was safe I left the house.

I headed over to pogtopia. I passed by Manberg stopping only for a second to look at the now almost finished decorations.

I arrived at where the door would be only to find the entrance room blocked off with dirt. I broke the block placing them down at their original place after I'm inside. I ran down the staircase arriving at the ravine.

I didn't want to reveal my presence so I silently joined the call watching from atop.

'We can rig this festival with TNT. We can kill them all Tommy. Tommy literally have you not noticed, everyone who's claiming to be on our side their lying to us! Tubbo, he's lying to you man! He, he and (U/N) would drop us the second they realize were not in the lead anymore!' Wilbur said.

Tommy kept interrupting him with No's after he finnaly had 'Stop it!'

'Wilbur you're being reckless. You are not the man that came in as president. If this is what you think will let us recover L'manberg, then I'll go along with it but I don't agree with it okay?'

Tommy stopped for a second before continuing 'This isn't the right thing to do. This isn't the moral thing to do. You'll be- what's the point of doing anything if you've lost all hope. You've gotta stay with it man. You've gotta pull yourself together.'

With that, I decided to intervene I walked down the steps facing Wilbur.
'Wilbur we fought for this nation! We died for this nation and now you want us to watch it disappear into dust?!' I said and walked up next to Tommy.

Wilbur stayed silent for a bit. It was clear he didn't want me to be here. Tubbo joined the call explaining what Schlatt said about the festival.

Soon even Schlatt, Fundy and Quackity were in the vc. It seems Tubbo had been followed back to the base. Tommy and Wilbur rushed to help block off the underground path while I took out my sword crouching down near them.

Tubbo conversed with them and we made our way out of pogtopia. I ran through the forest going to my house as fast as I could.

You whispered to TommyInnit: We're gonna talk about this later.

I left the vc as my thoughts consumed me. Wilbur is going to blow up the whole nation. The nation we all fought for. The nation I betrayed my friends for. The nation that was built to protect us. To protect Tommy!

If I was going to be at that dammed festival I was going to make sure none of our men got hurt. Tubbo was the most in danger right now so I messaged him to call me in discord.

'Tubbo I have a favor to ask. We're both going to be at the festival right? I'm going to need you to do something for me okay? I'm going to give you a pearl and I'm going to need you to pearl away when I give you the signal. I might not even give you the signal just for insurance okay?' I said.

'Are you okay there big man? You sound, almost scared? Definitely worried!' he said.

'I'm okay Tubbo just please promise me you would do this for me.' I continued.

'Sure man.' said Tubbo and I ended the call.

Next was Tommy. I messaged him too and we were soon in a call.

'Tommy where are you?' I asked with urgency.

'I'm at the embassy.' he sighed.

I took off right away. After making the semi-long journey I found Tommy sitting on a bench next to a tree. I approached him sitting down next to him.

'This is not right Tommy we both know that.' I said and he nodded.

'That's why I need you to promise me something. Please promise me you won't be near the explosion when it happens.' I continued watching him.

He nodded again. We sat in silence for a bit until Tommy spoke 'We need to try and stop Wilbur.'

'Just know whatever happens I will be there.' I smiled.

Sorry for the short chapter and lack of updates. 

I needed to take a break just to rest up and deal with the lack of motivation I've had.
