Schlatt's POV
I was doing paperwork beside Tommy's bed. I was just informed about 20 minutes ago that Tubbo didn't make it. That broke my heart, he was like a son to me and Quackity. That wasn't the worst part though. The worst part was that I was going to have to tell Tommy, he would be heartbroken. I haven't informed Wilbur on what happened yet, I'm going to ask Tommy if he wants to tell him. I was just mindlessly looking through my paperwork when I heard stirring from the bed. I snapped my head up to look at the bed, and Tommy was stirring awake. I walked over to him and sat down on the bed with him. I looked at him and he was slowly backing away from me, scared.

"Hey, I'm not going to hurt you. I promise," I said in my calmest voice I could muster. I flashed a small, but sincere smile. I could tell he relaxed a bit because he let out a sigh.

"What happened? Where's Tubbo?!" He frantically looked around. I placed a hand on his shoulder to calm him down.

"I'll tell you later, just get changed and meet me in my office, ok? It's the second door on the left," I informed him before walking out of the room and heading to my office.

Tommy POV
I stirred awake, blinking a couple of times before starring at the ceiling. Then I realized I wasn't in my own bed. I felt the bed shift so I looked up and Schlatt was at the end of the bed. Instinctively, I started to back away. The man that wants me dead is in front of me!

"Hey, I'm not going to hurt you. I promise," I heard him say in a rather calming voice, different from what I was used to. He then flashed a small but sincere smile, I didn't think that was possible. I let out a sigh, feeling safer than before. I then started panicking.

"What happened? Where's Tubbo?!" I frantically started looking around. A firm grasp was laid on my shoulder, calming me down once again.

"I'll tell you later, just get changed and meet me in my office, ok? It's the second door on the left," he informed me before walking out of the room. I walked over to the bathroom, looking at the clothes laid out on the counter. It was a suit. 'God, does this man own anything but suits?!' I questioned myself before changing. The suit was rather comfy, almost my exact size. 'I look good in a suit' I smiled at the thought before fixing my hair, and leaving the bathroom. I walked down the hallway, towards Schlatt's office. I knocked on the door hearing a 'come in' from the other side. I sat down in a chair in front of his desk, shifting slightly.

"Tommy, I have something regarding Tubbo. Would you like to take a walk outside?" He asked and I nodded my head. He got up from his desk, walking over to the door. He opened the door and stepped out into the hallway. We walked in complete silence before making it to the front door. He opened them and I blinked a couple times, getting used to the sunlight. We started walking down the stairs in the front of his mansion. I kept getting judgmental stares from Manberg residents, and I started shifting uncomfortably. Schlatt noticed and tried distracting me by starting a conversation.

"So about Tubbo"

"What about him? He's ok right?"

"Well about that, he had lost a lot of blood. I'm afraid he didn't make it," he said and looked away. I froze, tears forming in my blue eyes. I looked up at Schlatt.

"C-Can we g-go back I-inside please?" I asked nicely, voice cracking more then I would have liked.

"Of course, I'll make lunch. The funeral is in a couple of hours. Do you want to go?" He said trying to calm me down.

"Y-yea, I'd like that," I said mustering a small smile. We started walking back to his mansion.

"Schlatt, can I ask you something?" I turned to look at him.

"Sure, go ahead."

"Why did the residents look at me funny?" I asked him, remembering the looks the people gave me.

"One your wearing a suit, two your walking with me, and three they were probably just judging me."

"Oh makes sense," I said, walking up to the front door. I opened the door to be met face to face with Quackity.

"Hey Quackity!" I said before walking to what I assumed was the kitchen.

"What do you have to eat?!" I yelled at the two adults.

"Don't worry about it, I'll make something!" The voice that sounded like Quackity said. I walked out of the kitchen, walking over to Schlatt.

"Hey Schlatt, got any board games?"

"Yea there in the closet, pick one and I'll play," He said, walking into the kitchen. I picked out Monopoly, one of the longest games ever, but one of my favorites.

"Lunch is ready!" I heard Quackity yell from the kitchen. I rushed to the kitchen because I was starving. We all started eating. Once we were done, I put the plates in the sink and dragged Schlatt to the living room. We played Monopoly until it was time for the funeral.

"Come on, we have to go," Schlatt said, packing up all the loose pieces and putting it back in the closet. I slowly got up, not looking forward to the funeral for my best friend.

After the funeral (I don't know how funerals work so I'm skipping it)

Tommy's POV
By the end, I was a crying mess. I was shaking, and holding onto Schlatt like my life depended on it. Quackity and Schlatt were beside me the whole time, sharing sympathetic glances between each other.

"Let's get you to bed, you've had a long day," Schlatt said picking me up. I smiled at him, muttering a small, "thank you" before falling asleep.
