Into The Apocalypse

Chapter 1: The Start

The girls were currently resting at their dorm, enjoying each other's  company as they watched cartoons. "yahhh why did you choose spongebob? I wanted to watch Alvin and the chipmunks"  Chaeyoung whined "Alvin and the chipmunks?? We bare bears is on! why not just watch that?" Tzuyu argued "shut it! I got the remote first so we're watching spongebob" Dahyun said and hugged the remote. Jihyo enters the living room and saw 5 out of the 8 girls "where's the japaneses?" she asked Nayeon "probably in the big room, idk" she answered with a shrug. Jihyo nodded and was about to enter the kitchen when the doorbell rang "Did you guys order any package?" Jihyo asked "not that we remember?" Chaeyoung answered. Jihyo furrowed her brows then made her way to the door and looked through the peephole and saw 5 figured "Oh, It's the dongsaengs" she said and opened the door "hey girls" Jihyo greeted "annyeong unnieee" Chaeryeong greeted and hugged Jihyo "woah! ehehe I missed you guys too. what are you guys doing here? what's with the bags?" Jihyo asked "JYP-nim told us to stay with you guys while he's out." Yeji answered "oh. is that so? alright. come in" Jihyo stood aside and let's them enter the dorm

"who was at the door?" Jeongyeon asked "ITZY" Jihyo said "ITZY?!" The maknaes ran to them and hugged them "Dongsaengiesss!" they said. Itzy laughed and hugged them back "hey unnies! we'll crash with you guys for awhile, is that okay?" Yuna said "of course! stay as long as you want. it was getting a little boring here haha" Nayeon laughed which caused them to chuckle. they settled in the living room and catched up with each other when they heard 2 screams coming from the big room which made them all run inside "girls! what's wrong?" Jeongyeon asked as soon as she opened the door.

they saw Sana and Momo cuddled up on the bed while Mina holds a book. They looked at the girls at the door "DAHYUNNIE HELP! ZOMBIES WILL EAT MY BRAIN!!" Momo ran to Dahyun and hugged her tight "zombies?" Chaeryeong raises a brow "Yes. oh hi ITZY" Momo waved at them which made the 5 girls chuckle and wave back "why were you guys screaming?" Lia asked "I was telling them this story about a zombie apocalypse" Mina said and closed her books "Ooooh! I like Zombies! did you know that Zombies are really sensitive to sounds which makes them turn to the source and try to kill it?" Yuna said "Yeah! also,Zombies cant swim which causes them to sink in the water" Mina added "Zombies eyesight are also bad that's why they rely on their sense of hearing" Yuna added

"Ya'll are nerds" Tzuyu said which made Jeongyeon, Ryujin and Chaeyoung to chuckle "haha good one unnie" Ryujin said and high fived Tzuyu "why did you guys scream tho? It's just a story" Jihyo asked "It just creeps us out that a living corpse are out there trying to eat our brains" Sana shivered and hugged herself at the thought "Zombies don't eat brains, they eat human flesh, so basically their target isn't just brains" Yuna said in a matter-of-fact tone "You kids and your stories. go to bed now, it's getting late" Jihyo said "ITZY, stay in the maknae's room, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu, you girls sleep next to the japanese" she added

"what? why?" Chaeyoung asked "Don't question god. also, I dont want you sleeping next to me and noone would want o sleep next to Nayeon unnie so the japanese is a fair choice" Jihyo said "WHAT?! Hey!" Nayeon chased after Jihyo who ran for her life. ITZY laughed at their unnie's actions.

The next day, they all laid on the couch, trying their best to stay awake. when I said they, I meant, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Momo, Lia, Ryujin and Yuna. Mina quietly made her way to the sofa and grab the remote, waiting for Sana to come out of the bathroom, she turns on the TV and was not expecting a breaking news

"A 65 year old man started attacking random people, biting their necks until they bleed out. The victims started to rise as if they were zombies. Live at Busan station" The reporter said, the line cuts to a man who's infront of the scene "Just in, The attackers started to grow more and more as they try to bite anyone they see. at a fast phase, they tackle them to the ground and bite them, turning them to flesh eating monsters, The police and militaries are trying their best to hold them off.  we advice everyone to stay in their houses and barricade the entran-- AHHHH!!!" The reported was attacked one zombie, The camera man tries getting the zombie off but was bitten instead,  everything was caught on camera until the signal got cutted off

terrified, Mina turned the television off. The living room was dead silent, everyone saw everything, confusion is written on their faces "what just happened?" Chaeyoung asked "Did... someone just bit off the reporters throat?" Ryujin asked "u-unnies, I'm scared.." Yuna said and started to cry "hey hey hey! don't cry, this could just be a prank, there's nothing to worry about. calm down.." Yeji, being the good leader she is, comforts the maknae. They tired to process what's going on when Nayeon's phone rung, she picked it up and put it on speaker "hello?"

"NAYEON! did you hear the news?" Jisoo asked from the other side "yeah, this could just be some prank right?" Nayeon asked anxiously "I Don't think so Nadongie, It looked pretty legit.. should we meet up or smth?" Jisoo asked "um.. sure?.. Itzy is here with us, where are we meeting up?" Nayeon asked "we'll go there, Red Velvet's with us.. Sorry, Jennie got scared so she called Irene and it was Yeri's idea to meet up" Jisoo explained, her voice getting more and more anxious "Jisoo-yah.. are you okay? you sound.. stressed.. maybe we shouldn't meet up, you should rest" Nayeon said "NO! we're meeting up. wear something that will protect your exposed skin, wear a glove and pants. don't wear skirts or short's but if you're not comfortable with it then go. we'll meet ya there at 6" then Jisoo hung up. Confused to why Jisoo was acting strangely, They just followed her order and wore something casual but still covering their skin.

by at time BlackVelvet arrived, The girls were done eating breakfast. Jisoo and Yeri hurriedly closed the door and locked it "yah. what's wrong? you guys looked like you ran a marathon" Nayeon said "Guys this is bad. a dangerous virus had spreaded all over korea, that thing you guys saw on the news, were real life zombies. we need to find a safe place to hide" Jennie said. The girls still couldn't believe it "But, zombies aren't real, there must be something wrong with them--" Tzuyu said "We tried thinking that way until... We saw YG-nim get attacked..." Rosie said in a low voice. The girls gasped "Wait so an apocalypse is really happening right now?" Jeongyeon asked. Blackvelvet stayed silent, not knowing what to answer "oh god.... I gotta call my parents.." Jeongyeon ran to her phone and tried dialing her parents, the others followed too but no one was answering. Jennie, Rosie, Sana, Momo, Mina, Tzuyu and Lisa wasn't worried as much since their parents are away from korea, where the virus are spreading.

in a panicking state, Chaeryeong called her sister, Chaeyeon. She picked up which made Chaeryeong gasp in relief "Unnie! Unnie where are you? are you okay? are you guys safe?" she asked in a rant "shhhh, We're fine but we're trapped inside Mnet.. The building is surrounded by zombies.. Sakura said most of them were runners.." Chaeyeon whispered but they can hear the phants, sobs and anxious mumbles of the Iz*one members. Chaeryeong was scared, both for her life and her sisters, Chaeyeon was her only family left. She stood up and was about to open the door when she was pulled back in by Yuna and into a hug "Let me go! I need to save my sister!" Chaeryeong sobbed "It's too dangerous out there! We can't just leave!" Ryujin said "But my sister--" Chaeryeong started to sob harder. The three leaders of the group doesn't know what to do, they can't just stay inside forever, they dont have enough food. Jihyo furrowed her brow "Pack up, we're going to save Iz*one" she said "what?! NO! IT'S TOO DANGEROUS!" Irene disagreed to the idea "But we can't just leave them! They need us Irene unnie. We need to risk it. we already lost our families, we shouldn't let Chaeryeong loose hers too.." Jihyo said which made them all silent. Jeongyeon took a deep breathe and decided to lead the group to the rescue mission "alright. Let's pack up, What else do we need to know about zombies? experts?" she asked

Mina, Jisoo, Yeri and Yuna looked at each other and told them everything they need to know about zombies. Jeongyeon nodded "alright. Jihyo, Irene unnie.. You guys lead the whole group, I'll lead the fighters. assuming some of us knows how to fight?" she asked. Momo, Tzuyu, Lisa, Seulgi and Ryujin nodded "alright. let's pack up some flashlights, med kits, powerbanks, extra flashlights and batteries, a charger and blankets. One blanket each okay?" Irene asked. They all nodded "Let's.. go save your sister Chaerry.." Yuna smiled. Chaeryeong nodded and stood up, with determination in her eyes. They scattered and packed everything they needed

The medics got all the med kit, pills, bandages and other healing equipments. The fighters grabbed a bunch of temporary weapons like wooden chair legs, baseball bats, and slingshots. The two leaders printed out a map of Korea, so they know where to go just in case their phones died or break. The experts and thinkers gathered and thought of a way to enter the building without attracting any zombies. Once everyone was ready, they all stood at the door "ready girls?" Jihyo asked. They held onto their weapons tightly and nodded "let's go save Iz*one.." Jihyo muttered and opened the door
