Chapter 15: A Temporary Cure

They all watched in horror as their friend stands amongst the horde, looking dead inside

"YENA UNNIE!" Yuri was about to run to her when Yves and Hyejoo pulled her back "LET ME GO! IT'S YENA UNNIE! PLEASE LET ME GO!" Yuri cried out

"She's not Yena! Look at her eyes! Does she look humane to you?! She's been infected 100% Jo Yuri!" Hyewon exclaimed "Wait what do you mean by 100%?" Wendy asked "The infected ones.. If we reach day 10 and another blood moon arise, the stronger the virus gets.. Its dangerous if we don't find the cure asap!" Hyewon explained

"does that mean... Chaeyoung will turn into a real monster for real?" Mina asked "I'm sorry sunbaenim.. But yes.." Hyewon sighed sadly "We need to get Yena into the chamber" she added as she turned to the zombified Yena "no! You're not gonna use Yena unnie as a guenia pig!" Yujin immediately disagrees

"I'm not gonna use no serums on her pabo! We just need her to stay somewhere so we can keep an eye on her" Hyewon said "There's some small isolation room in the lab, if we can make Yena stay there then I can also observe her actions at a safe distance" She added as she stared at Yena's blood shot demonic eyes "This horde will be a perfect time to bring in zombies to the laboratory" Hyewon turns to the others "So you're saying we let them in? Are you crazy?!" Eunbi asked

"Then how will we get them inside the chamber then?" Hyewon asked, that's where they all went silent "let's lure them in then maybe kill the rest? then we'll lure them to Hyewon's lab?" Dahyun suggests "but how? Hyewon's lab is wayyy down in the basement of the house" Yeojin stated

"Let's just move it up?" Wonyoung asked "Wonnie, we can't bring a whole room up" Chaewon said "yes we can" Hyewon stated "we can?" Chaewon raises a brow "mhmm, I saw a little lever at the lab awhile ago, I think it'll level up the lab up to here" Hyewon explained "well what are you waiting for? do it" Seulgi said

"okay be right back" Hyewon kisses Minju's cheek first before running inside the house "you sure they ain't dating?" Chaeyoung asked Chaeyeon to which she just shrugged it off. suddenly the ground started to rumble as the space next to their cottage suddenly rose up, revealing Hyewon's laboratory "see! I told you!" Hyewon smiled widely  "that's some high tech shit.." Hyejoo said to which they all agreed on

"on 3 you guys open the gate, Yuri you lead Yena to the little prison place near the chamber, the rest of the zombies next to Yena's cell. everyone clear?" Irene asked "NAE UNNIE!" they exclaimed "1...! 2...! 3! GO GO GO!" Jihyo yelled and started shooting as soon as Seulgi and Jeongyeon pulled the ropes from their watch towers

the horde starts to get inside, Yuri goes infront of the zombiefied Yena "heyyy ducky! over heree" Yuri waved her hand around then runs to the said cell for Yena, going through the back door then going out through the front and locking her in. Once they managed to pile min 5-6 zombies to the cell next to Yena's. they all took a breather after fighting a horde

"hollly crap that was too much work.." Momo catched her breath "is that enough zombies for you Kang?" Sakura asked "more than enough" Hyewon smiled widely as she leaned on the glass cell of the zombies. Meanwhile Yuri stared at Yena "unnie..." she muttered as she leaned her forhead on the glass

"come on, let's go eat again" Tzuyu said and made her way back to the house "you coming joyul?" Nako turned to the hamster "y-yeah.. just a sec" Yuri looked at Yena  one last time then ran to the others

The next day came by as the girls started on their day as early as 4 am,

"YAHHHHH NABUKI GET THOSE WORMS AWAY FROM ME--" Yeojin yelled "YAHHH COME ON YEOJINNIE, THEY'RE JUST WORMS" Nako laughed as she chased Yeojin with worms "hey! shorties! stop running! you might fall!" Yujin laughed.
