Chapter 2

It's Mewnipendance Day. Star was getting excited about it. You were not.

They were going to do a reenactment of it. She gave all the Mewmens chain mail and weapons, while she gave the monsters nothing, just homemade costumes.

You were not going to help Star with her fantasy. So you stood watching everything. She stood next to you and started reading the book.

Everyone started fighting, "Star." you say, "Have you ever even read that book?"

She shakes her head, "Not really." she puts the book down and watches everything go down.

Ferguson came to your side and tried grabbing Star's wand. You look at him and your eyes go black, he takes his hand back.

You look back at what is happening and Star drops her wand on the railing in front of you.

Ferguson tried to grab it again, but you whistled and the unicorn came and knocked him off.

"Ferguson!" Star yelled and jumped down to him.

Turns out it was an actual monster.

You were at Marco's Dojo.

"Tell me again why you are here?" Marco asks.

"Because I refuse to train with Lucitor." you answer.

"Tom?"

You pause, "Uh... yeah."

"Is there a reason you're avoiding him so much. Not like I blame you, but why?"

"All he ever talks about the that stupid Blood Moon Ball, it irritates me."

"Ah..."

You started training. When a portal opens up beside you.

You look at it and someone walks through. You saw familiar horns.

They come out, "Hello, y/n."

You back up, "I'm not doing this right now, Lucitor."

"Oh come on! Training with me will be better, besides you mother told me to help you." Tom walks to you.

Marco and the other people in the Dojo were looking at you.

"If I win, will you leave me alone?"

"That's never going to happen, but I'll enlighten you." he raised your chin to look at him, "But if I win you have to train with me everyday."

You looked up at him, him and his stupid eyes, "Fine."

You were sitting by the guidance councilors office, waiting to be called about your future. Star was first, then you, then Marco.

Star came out all sad, then you went in and sat down in front of the councilor.

"Have you ever thought about your future before, y/n?" he asks you.

"My future is set in stone. I will be Star's second when she's queen." you answer leaning back in the chair.

"But you could be ruler."

"No, actually I can't. Star will be the ruler, not me."

"Not of Mewni. Of another kingdom."

"Like what? If I were to marry someone from another kingdom, they would be the ruler. And besides, I don't want to rule and entire kingdom." you stand up, "I'm done here, Mr. Candle."
