Day 1- Excess Baggage

At the challenge platform there was a large carousel with suitcases on it. We stood around it waiting for a text to explain the challenge.

Elladine looked down at her phone, "I got a text. Ooh, it's the rules of the challenge. Girls are going first. In each suitcase we'll find a secret clue about one of the guys. Then we kiss the guy who we think the clue is about. The guy who matches the clue steps forward and we'll see if we snogged the right person. Then it will be the guys' turn."

Miki looked a little too excited about the challenge, "So, do we actually have to kiss who we think the clue is about or can we just kiss someone we think is hot?"

"Well, you wouldn't win the game..."

"But you'd get to snog someone you like."

Miki had a good point. This might be one of my only chances to get close to Nicky without stepping on Elladines toes or causing drama. I started to think about what kind of secrets we were going to find out and what kind of secret they dug up on me. I really hoped it wasn't the erotic comic books I created in high school. I must have been looking off into the distance for awhile, because camilo coughed...

"You alright, Tegan? You look a little faraway."

"Oh, ya I'm good. Just nervous about what kind of secret they have on me."

"Aw, don't worry babe, it's just a bit of fun."

I shrugged and waited for the challenge to start. It was my turn first. I walked over to the conveyor belt, grabbed a suitcase and carried it over to the girls. I popped open the case and read the label inside.

"Ok, girls, here we go, our first clue is...this boy once woke up spooning a badger."

The boys looked at each other puzzled, while we huddled close to discuss who we thought the clue was about.

I said, "Aw, that sounds adorable."

"No, It sounds scary. Badgers will mess you up."

"How do you even end up in that situation?"

"I bet it was a prank by his mates."

"So, which one of these guys do we think it's about?"

We looked over to the boys, trying to see if one of them was giving it away. But they all stared back at us with the same blank look.

AJ guessed it was Bill. Elladine guessed Camillo. Genevieve said it could be any of them. They all turned to me and said since it was my clue it was up to me to decide who I thought it was since none of us could agree on who we thought it was. I looked over at the boys again, trying to decide what I should do. This could be my only chance to kiss Nicky. I walked over to the boys and stood in front of them trying to decide who I should kiss. I looked over at Nicky and he winked at me. It felt like he was trying to tell me this secret was about him, which meant he wanted me to kiss him.

I walked over to him, smiled and leaned in for a kiss. He brought his lips to mine instantly. His lips were soft and the kiss was sweet. It only lasted a few seconds but I wished it would continue forever.

Elladine cleared her throat and glared at me, "Ok, so whoever woke up to a terrifying bed companion please step forward."

The boys all looked around at each other, then Nicky stepped forward.

Elladine glanced at Nicky and then back at me again. "Well, I guess I can't get mad at Tegan for kissing my partner since she was right. So tell us babe, how did this happen?"

Nicky laughed, "Ok,ok...so first off, it was a baby badger that had clearly got lost. It had been a really cold night, it must have somehow got into my flat and found something warm to cuddle up to...me."
