Artemis
I could hear him behind me but didn't turn around. I could hear the laughter from the beach and stop.
"For a little person you run fast." I turn to him and smile.
"Well thank you. I hate running but I think I'll stop cursing it for one night."
Something about Zacchaeus is so enchanting that it felt fireworks go off in my body everytime he look at me.
He's different and I like it. I like it very much.
"Stay here. I'll be back." He nod and lean against a tree. I spot Sanders and walk over to him. "Hey asshole."
He turn round and pull me in but I pull away. He raise a eyebrow at me but I just take another step back. "We're over. Done."
"You're breaking up with me!"he asked in disbelief. "Why?"
"Because you left me in that house because you got scared and didn't bother to check if I was behind you. Enjoy your night."
I turn and walk away, feeling like a heavy load was lifted off my chest.
I spot Zacchaeus and went to him.
"I'm now a free woman."
"That you are." He smile up at him and walk off into the trees with him.
"Why do you live all the way out here?"
"I like the peace and quiet. Plus its good to get away from the inquisitive eyes."
"People thought you look weird?"
"I look weird. I white as chalk." He huff and I pull him to a stop.
"Nothings wrong with how you look. I know you're different but when you're ready you can tell me. Weirdly I trust you."
"Then I'll like to tell you now. If you still trust me then, it will come as a huge relief."
"Go ahead." He pull at his long hair.
"I'm a vampire."
