The man's look of surprise soon changed into a mischievous smile and he said, "Are you stalking me?"
"I am kidding!!!" he responded fast looking at my expression which probably showed how shocked I was hearing his words. I folded my arms in front of me and raised my eyebrow at him to show that his joke wasn't appreciated. Turning around with the tire he sat down on the ground and started to remove the flat tire.
"Umm thank you for your help but you didn't have to do fix the whole thing and trouble yourself I would have changed the tire on my own." I told the stranger as he looked for something in the tool bag.
"Just because you can do it doesn't necessarily mean that you have to do it yourself. Now what kind of a man would I be if I will make a lady do all the work." pulling the old tire out, he placed it on the ground, he grabbed the spare one and fitted it in the empty space.
All I could respond to him was with a 'thank you and sorry for the trouble '. While he was working on the tire I realized that snow was increased and looking at the visibility now it would become quite difficult to reach home after sometime. Looking back at the man I noticed how his hands had become red due to the cold air and his knee was on the ground making a wet patch around his knee area I suddenly felt bad that he was troubled because of my situation. He attached the tire then got up to remove the jack from the car; he bent to grab the punctured tire and went to place it in my dickey along with all the tools. He closed the door and turned to give me the keys, "here you go"
"Thank you so much! Really I am extremely grateful for your help. You had to face a lot of trouble because of me. Thank you -____? Umm sorry I don't even know your name."
"Really it's no trouble after all its humane to help another person in trouble. My bad I didn't introduce myself my name is Dawood Shah."
"Well it is really nice meeting you umm my name is__--"
"Liza I know I remember your name it's quite a beautiful name hard to forget."
"Ah! Thank you. Really I am sorry for the trouble I caused you."
"No worries however I do have a question if you won't think of me too bold but can you share with me where you are going currently. Don't get me wrong it's just that the weather is too bad and since you're driving alone I might accompany you on the way by following your car if you're comfortable with this suggestion that is. "
"Oh no need to trouble yourself seriously I am going home it will take me max 20 minutes more..."
"I would be relieved to see you reach safely to your destination. It's no trouble seriously plus your spare tire is less on air so I am not sure if its going to be sustainable. if your not comfortable I completely understand but still you should call somebody just as a precaution."
Hearing his explanation I felt a little guilty for doubting his intensions for knowing my place of destination, not everyone is a bad person and so I decided to tell him that I am going to Sonwar. I was a startled to find that he was going to the same locality, does coincidence like this happen in the world but since he went out of his way to help me I decided to humor him and agreed to him tailing my car. He smiled at the coincidence and told me to get in the car as he too went towards his car. I started my car through the rear view mirror I could see him sitting in his car staring at his phone I started driving to my destination.
No matter how many times I checked he was driving behind my car, I was feeling a warm feeling in the pit of my stomach which slowly made my whole self warm. No one had ever gone out of their way to do something for me and he who was a complete stranger went out of his way to help me I guess there are still good people in the world. The snow was still falling on the roads where almost empty of traffic so it didn't take me a lot of time to reach. He was still trailing my car as I stopped two lanes before my street I turned on my indicator and stopped my car; he stopped his car besides my window and rolled his car window.
