Luke's POV

~~

I didn't know what to think when the doctors told me that Heather was in surgery. She had told me about her whole past of injuries and surgeries. It worries me that even though she made it through her past ones, she might not get through this one?

Why am I so worried? They're just removing the screw from her ankle....?

I just don't want her hurt. I managed to come this far with her without being at the ER but then again, here we are.

It's so boring just sitting here in my hospital bed and worrying about her. Worrying about her makes me think of her and the happy moments she's had.

*She popped the football up for a juggling contest with Calum.

God she looked so good. Her kicks were precise, her long, blonde ponytail was jumping around from her movement. I watched her long legs and their muscle. She told me that she played soccer since she was 5. She had over ten years of muscle built into her whole body.

Don't get me started on her body. Long, tan, legs. Soft, delicate hands, tall. She was perfect in my eyes. Fans could tell her whatever they wanted but it never got to her. She knew she wasn't a horrible person and I told her so every night.*

*I ran a little slower behind her so I could watch her run away from me laughing.

Food fights were always the best to get her in a crazy mood.

I loved her crazy, giggly, happy moods. Then again, she was pretty feisty when she's mad.

She stopped running in front of me causing me to come to a sudden stop. I slipped on the wet grass beneath us and fell onto my butt. I looked up at her, her chest rising and falling from running so far, her smile going out of control, and her leg rising to rest on my chest. I had another idea.

I pulled her foot and she toppled down onto me. I hugged her close but hen rolled her over and pinned her to the ground.

I noticed the change of emotion in her eyes and it changed mine. I had a tickle fight in mind but she seemed to have different.

I got myself lured into her and leaned in. She copied my actions until she wiggled out from underneath me and started another chase back to the house with the boys. I stood for a minute thinking about how lucky I was to have someone who could do this to me.*

I was snapped back to the present by the doctor coming through the door. I had permanent memories of her etched into my mind no matter what.

"Mr.Hemmings, you are free to go home if you'd like." The doctor smiled at me then gave me the orders of medication and where to sign discharge papers.

I walked up to the front desk and signed althe paperwork then walked back to the waiting room to wait for Heather. god, this girl has me out of it.
