Beeps

It was all fuzzy and I felt like there were tiny circles going around and around on the ceiling, the hospital ceiling. I looked to my left, which made my head swim, and then to my right. To my right was Luke and next to him was Julie. They were both asleep with Luke's head leaning back against the wall and Julie curled into a small ball.
I wanted to talk and get them to wake up but I found that I couldn't. Great. I should let them sleep anyways. I cause them way too much stress with my stupid leg.
I spent the next half hour trying to comprehend exactly what had happened that made me black out. I remembered Luke being different and the thought made my stomach hurt.
Before I knew it, I felt my eyelids falling to meet each other. I quickly snapped them open, I wanted to be awake when Luke an Julie woke up.
A tall, handsome doctor walked in mid-thought.
"Helllo, it's good to finally see you awake, Mrs. Matterson," he smiled up at me from his clipboard. I took I his features, tall, muscular, tattooed, and blonde.
"PEANUTS!" I nearly jumped out of my skin. I looked over at Jules who had just shouted that. She looked shocked and had her hands covering her mouth.
"Ahem, sorry about that..." she covered up.
"Julie are you okay?" I asked laughing heavily.
"Yup." she replied shyly.
"What in the name of hell was that?" Luke asked, whipping tears from his eyes due to laughing so hard.
I looked at him and smiled wide. I was glad to see him awake and living.
He looked at me, making eye contact. He smirked and chuckled as his hand went up to his hair. He messed with it making its mess, even messier. It still looked amazing though.
"Ok, so you suffered from shock because of your ankle surgery," his words made me look down at the cast,"but you should be fine." He smiled and folded up his clipboard and slope out the door. I turned to Luke and Julie,"I'm so fucking sorry,"
"DON'T SWEAR!"
"Calm down, Jules," I laughed at her similarity to Ashton and memories from years ago.
"Let's get you ready to go," Luke smiled holding up the discharge papers. I smile with him and helped myself out of the bed and to the bathroom with the clothes I had on before. I slipped Ito the black skinny jeans lightly catching my foot in the whole in the knee. I fixed it and slipped into my Fall Out Boy jumper. I walked out and Julie, Luke and I made our way to the car. Julie and I slipped into the bam seat and Luke into the drivers seat. We went how. Immediately and I collapsed on the couch. Luke bent down to kiss me on the forehead,"sleep right babe."
