It's time to go Heather

"DOCTOR!" I heard a nurse scream. Plenty of doctors rushed into the room and a few nurses rushed us out of the room. They closed the door leaving us to hear scrambling and the same line still going flat.

"No." I said as I leaned my for head against the wall. "He isn't gone. He can make it through. He'll come back."  I kept trying to deny the fact that Luke had just died. He couldn't have. He's stronger than that and I know it. I couldn't handle losing another person of which I was close with.

"Heather, lets just go sit down somewhere." I looked up at Ashton who had blood shot eyes and red cheeks from crying.

"What the fuck,Ashton?" I looked over at Michael who had his fist balled up on his side. "Our brother just died and you want to sit down somewhere?" I watched as Michael moved closer to Ashton. "He was the only one I could talk to about things, he was the only one who I would stop for!" I watched as Michael was about to throw a punch at Ash. Before it could happen, Calum stepped between the two and caught Michael's hand in mid-air.

"Stop, his fricken girlfriend doesn't need to see you guys fighting. We don't need to kill each other now." He reasoned in a low, calm voice. I could tell he was mad from the way the veins popped out around his arms.

We all turned our attention to the door as it creaked open, revealing the doctor.

"I'm sorry.." He started off but Michael cut him mid sentence.

"No you're not. Luke was just another patient to you. He was our brother and you killed him!" Michael turned and stormed out towards the hospital doors.

"I need to go get him." Ashton said. I watched him leave too. I turned to Calum.

"Don't worry, I'm staying here." He said as he wrapped his arms around me. We both followed the doctor into Luke's room.

"Oh hey guys." A small whisper came from the bed as he smiled weakly.

"L-Luke?" I asked as I stepped forward to cup his face with my hands. I couldn't believe he was still....here.

"Yes, it's me baby." I giggled. Not a regular giggle, but the kind where you had been crying and your nose was all stuffy and the giggle came out giving everyone relief that you were OK.

Then, I looked over at the doctor."Why did you say you were sorry?" I turned my head in confusion.

"I was going to tell you that I'm sorry for what had happened with the flat line. It was a malfunction from a nurse in training." He smiled at me. I sighed and let my shoulders slump back down.

"I'm just glad you're back." I grinned down at Luke. My eyes teared up again at the thought of being without Luk.

"Where's the rest of the boys?"
