𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙏𝙀𝙍 𝙏𝙀𝙉

as the breeze blew onto my face, brushing against my cheeks and blowing my hair across my face, i kept twisting and turning to try and get hair strands out of my line of vision. sero laughed, his hands in his pockets and shoulders spiking up. it had gotten colder since the afternoon and we were currently walking home. it wasn't that far but since we were entering november, the days got shorter and the night started taking over.

after a few minutes, a car would pass by and occasionally we would pass a person on the street aswell, it wasn't the smartest idea to take the small alley ways to get back to school but they were significantly quicker.

"nice night, the moon's out."

sero almost whispered, we looked up to see the moon like a bright white orb radiating light into the sky. although the moon looked like it let out its light, it was actually the sun that would reflect its light onto the moon, letting us see it as it shone bright in the night. this sounded like a metaphor,

something sero would say.

"hey? wanna pair up for the project next week?"

i asked, this was something i wanted to ask him about for quite some time. the research of your partner's quirk was very well implemented into this project. and sero's quirk was very unique. the way his body could make the tape, the diet he had to be put on that strengthened the quality. everything about his quirk was something i wanted to research.

"the one about quirks, right?"

"mhm."

"i don't know much about your quirk."

that's right, i didn't really elaborate on my quirk to the class, they were still in the dark about it. well, except for katsuki who practically begged me to show him my quirk. maybe begged isn't the right word.

threatened? persuaded?

"well, it's sort of like manipulating stone and rocks."

he stopped,

"what?"

"god, i've never properly explained this. this is going to be difficult."

"you have all the time in the world, let's sit here for a bit."

we sat down when we reached the bus stop,

"to explain it, i can basically manipulate the earth. so, stone, dirt, some metals."

"so you can manipulate earth. you'd be at an advantage in open areas."

"yes but disadvantaged in buildings and workplaces."

"ok. sure! let's do the project together."

i looked over at him and we smiled, getting up and entering the school gates. the lights in the dorm were still on and you could see denki's LEDs from the entrance.

"he sure loves those lights."

i scoffed , sero looked up and let out a big smile. me and denki weren't quite close, we were far from even being friends. i found him being the opposite of me, but in a bad way. we clashed in everything we did but apart from all of that, he was always so considerate of others.

"you guys should really become friends."

"yeah. i guess we should."

please mind the quality of this chapter, today has been a shitty day and it's really reflected onto my work.
