I know the titles weird so let me explain. One time in the middle of the night I was thinking and my brain suddenly said those 4 words in that exact order. I know, I'm weird. Also I just realised that Ree Kid was supposed to be staying the week at Y/N's place and then in the last chapter the boys were there as well. I don't know why so let's just say they where there because you and Ree Kid where hanging out at their house then you were planning to go to Y/N's house after hanging out there. Anyways enjoy.

Y/N's POV

You hear Ree Kid whisper "I love you" before you fall asleep. You think he didn't mean for you to hear it but you heard it anyway. You felt kind of happy that he likes you as well. But maybe he was talking to someone else.

(Nightmare/flashback to childhood)

You hear mum crying. She's drinking that weird smelling drink again and you want to comfort her but when she's like this she's just going to yell at you if you try. You hear a car door slam outside and panic. You run into your room and dive into your bed. You pull the covers up to your chin as dad opens the front door. He yells at mum, calling her pathetic and an excuse for a human being. Mum cries even more and you hear a SLAP. He stomps down the hallway and comes closer to your door. You're very scared. He opens your door and his face is pure hatred. There's really no other way to describe the way he looks when he sees you.

"And you." He yells, "You think that you're any better than your mother? You're both disgraces and you should have never existed in the first place!" He slams the door closed and stomps back down the hallway. You hear the front door slam shut and then his car door. The engine starts and he drives away. You turn over on your bed start bawling your eyes out.

(End of nightmare/flashback)

You sit up suddenly and scare Ree Kid, who was asleep. Key word: was.

"Are you okay?" He asks, worried.
You're sweating and shaking in fear.
Ree Kid hugs you and you cry into his shirt. He rubs your back and says soothing words. You need sleep but if you fall asleep you know what you'll dream about next. You feel your eyes getting droopy and you whisper
"No, please no"
You fall asleep again.

(Next nightmare/flashback)

You hear the front door open. You're already in bed. Dad hits mum and stomps down the hallway to your room. The door opens and he walks into the room. He goes next to your bed and raises his hand. He slaps you across the face and your nose starts to bleed. You're whimpering, trying not to cry.
"You're such a crybaby! When are you going to learn that the world does not revolve around you? You're a mistake!" He yells at you.
You start to cry. He glares at you with hatred again and raises his hand.

(End of next nightmare/flashback)

You wake up, crying and shivering. Ree Kid is trying to shake you awake and has probably been for quite a while.
"Why?" You repeat over and over.
"Why what?" Ree Kid asks.
"Why? WHY WON'T IT STOP!" You scream, and start crying even harder.
The door opens and all of the boys are standing there, looking worried. You ignore then and keep crying into Ree Kid's shirt.
They all rush over and ask you what's wrong. You keep crying until you can't cry anymore. You're having a panic attack and can't talk very well.
"I d-don't want t-to talk a-about it" you manage to say.
The boys look at each other and decide they don't want to force you.
"Okay, we'll give you some space, but one of us has to stay with you, just in case. Who do you want to stay with you?" Josh asks you.
You point to Ree Kid.
The boys nod and leave the room.
You cuddle up with Ree Kid and he rests his head on yours. You relax and Ree Kid relaxes as well. Your panic attack goes away. After a while, he asks you a question.

"Why did you say "no please no" before you fell alseep again?" He asks.
You dont know how to answer that.
"Y/N, please answer me, want to know how to help you." He says.
"No one can help me." You say, in a monotone voice.
Ree Kid pulls away from the hug and looks at you.
"Y/N, please" he says, doing puppy eyes. You want to giggle, but it feels like you cried all of your emotions out.
"Fine. My dad-" you feel like you're going to have a panic attack again so you take a deep breath. "My dad used to hurt me and my mum when he came home from work. I'm sorry you and the boys had to see me like that, t won't happen again." You put on a fake smile and hug him.
Ree Kid sighs, knowing you aren't saying the full story, but also knowing that you're upset and you're probably not going to say anything else.
"Do you want to go to my place now so we can hang out by ourselves?" You ask, wanting to change the subject.
"Sure, I'll go tell Josh that we're going." Ree Kid says, pulling away from the hug and getting up. He stops at the door and turns around. "By the way, you better tell me the whole story when we get there." He says.
"Fine." You respond.

A few minutes later

You and Ree Kid are at your house.
"Oh, by the way, my aunt is on holiday for a few weeks so we have the house to ourselves." You say, pulling in the driveway.
"Okay." Ree Kid replies.
You walk inside and bellyflop on the couch. Ree Kid laughs and you smile to yourself, knowing you can make one person happy, even if it is only for a few seconds.

Ree Kid walks up to the couch and sits next to your head. You turn around and look up at him. You wiggle a bit so that your head is in his lap. He blushes a bit and so do you.
"So. What's the full story." He says, now with a serious expression.
You sigh and explain how your mum had an alcohol addiction which later killed her (and being attacked didn't help her health either) and how your dad used to attack you and and your mum when he came home from work. Ree Kid looks at you sadly. You got used to it so you didn't think it was so bad. But now, looking back, you can see that it was really bad.

"So that's what the nightmares where about. But why did you say "no please no" before you fell asleep again?" Ree Kid asks
"My dreams kind of like chapters of a book that I've read before, I guess. When I have a specific nightmare, I know how many other nightmares and which ones I'll have the next time I fall asleep." You reply.
"Oh..." Ree Kid says.
There's a silence for a few seconds and then Ree Kid starts playing with your hair. You giggle and he smiles.
"Oh, by the way." You say
"Hm?"
"Did you mean what you said before I fell asleep the first time?"
Ree Kid's face goes red and you laugh.
"Yes" he finally responds.
Your eyes go wide.
"But if you don't feel the same-"
Ree Kid is cut off by you kissing him. He's shocked for a second but kisses you back. You both pull away after a bit so you can breathe. You get up to sit next to him and you hug him. He hugs you back. You decide to watch some movies together then go to bed. You fall asleep in the middle of Christopher Robin (a movie about Christopher Robin from Winnie the Pooh when Christopher is an adult and doing adult things). You feel Ree Kid kisses you on the forehead and you fall into a dreamless sleep.
