chapter 4 // first year

first day

I woke up bright and early for my first day at Hogwarts, Pansy and Daphne were both still sleeping so I used this opportunity to have the first shower.

I grabbed my Slytherin Robes and made my way to the bathroom, which was surprisingly big for a school bathroom.

I quickly washed up and put my robes on and tied my green tie, luckily my mother taught me how to tie a tie in preparation for school, or else I would have had no idea.

I made my way down to the common room to do a bit of light reading while I waited for Elliot.

I picked out a random romantic novel, I've never seen it before I think it was a muggle book.

I read through half of a chapter till I was interrupted.

"Morning Darling," the boy said sleepily

"good morning Elliot" I say without even looking up from my book

I looked up to meet Elliot's surprised face "How did you know it was me? you didn't even look up from your book" he said slowly walking into the common room, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

"I don't know intuition I guess" I replied with a wink

"Bloody hell it's early" he groaned as he plopped down beside me on the leather couch.

"Get used to it" I replied with a smirk and stuck my head back into the book.

"Watcha readinggggg" he inquired inching closer to me to peep over my book "A book." I replied flatly. He quickly ripped the book out of my hands and began reading "What is true love is it something you feel something you kn-"

Before he could finish reading I grabbed the book from his hands and hopped up and placed it back on the shelf. "Didn't know you were such a hopeless romantic Via" he called out.

"Via?" I questions

"Yup came up with it just then, pretty smart aren't I?" he said with a smirk

"Whatever you say Lee" I said walking out of the common room with a smirk plastered on my face.

I made it halfway down the hallway till I realized something

Oh, crap wasn't I supposed to go to breakfast with Elliot?

I turned around and headed back to the common room, apparently, I was a bit distracted this morning because I walked right into someone

"Watch where you're going freak" He scoffed, it was Malfoy of course.

"Ah good morning to you too Malfoy" I grinned sarcastically I rolled my eyes and continued back to the common room.

I entered the common room again and saw that a bunch of groggy Slytherins had filled up the common room and started making their way to the exit for breakfast.

I searched the room with my eyes to fin-

"Via" a voice called out as they were coming up to me

"Lee, hello again I seem to have forgotten something" I replied

"And what was tha-" His sentence was cut off

I grabbed him by the wrist softly and pulled him towards the exit of the common room with a smirk.

"Thought you were gonna skip out on our first breakfast at Hogwarts?" I asked while nudging him in the side

"Well Im gonna be stuck with you for the next 7 years I gotta get a break from you sometimes," He said with a wink.
