The announcement of Deis' blessing to his child causes a bit of panic for werewolves, witches, and vampires. I guess that move really an upside-down situation.
"Louis, she's here," said Cain after abruptly opening my door. "Anya..."
After preparing myself, I saw Anya sitting behave on the couch in my office. She really knows how to act.
"So, how's the preparation? Is it going well?" I asked.
"Yes, Sir Louis. The schedule I've received said that the party will start at 8 pm. So rush." She bluntly said. "Mr. Cain told me earlier that the invitation cards will be prepared by thee. Am I correct?"
I nod as a response.
"The venue is fine." She gave me a folder with pictures in it. "Large enough to hold up to two hundred (200) people. It is elegant and dazzling as well." She flipped the plastic pages of the folder. "I chose this preference for Mr. Deis is so picky and for Ms. Claudia, that is so chick-lit."
I release some giggles. This human is so unpredictable.
She stares at me for about 3 seconds, thinking what's funny maybe.
"Foods are prepared by your selected chefs so you don't have to worry about it and drinks are from your cellar, of course, because you are so artsy. That's all I have to inform you."
She quickly grabbed the folder in my hands and directly put it in her bag.
"I'm attending a party. Well, if you'll excuse me."
"Good job, Anya. You are really excellent at this. Well, see you later tonight. Bring some friends if you want. They are welcome." I smiled.
"Then, I'll better get going." She said and leaves the office.
"Is she always like that?" Cain asked after entering my office. "Why does she looks like she's always in a hurry? Lagi ba talaga siyang busy?"
"She's my trustworthy human and I can't afford to lose her so I tightened up her schedule. I'm training her as well." I answered sincerely.
"Training from what?"
"Someday, you'll know. Just keep her safe tonight. She'll never bring friends because she knows who we are. She knows what we are." I smirked.
"She...what?! You knew she was just pretending?! How? When did she know about us? Recently? Or before she starts working with you?"
"Would you please calm your ass, Cain?" I said between my laughs. "She's a smart kid. You should help Dia distribute the invitation cards. I can feel her uneasiness and irritation since we arrived this morning. I'll handle Melissa and Deis."
