CAROLYN POV

I bought my brother a ticket to the concert for his birthday. His is the 29th of November, just 8 days after mine. It was now the 19th of December, just two months exactly until the concert. Everyday, I would look at the tickets and just smile at the precious things I had in my hand.

Every Wednesday, The 4 woud go to Nancy's house after school until 5, then her mother would come home from work and take us back up to the high school for "Math Lab," which is just a little after school math help session from 5 to 7, and then she'd take us home. December 19 just so happened to be a Wednesday.

We were chilling in Nancy's living room, watching The Black Cauldron, drinking kool-aid and eating fried rice. This was our typical Wednesday afternoon, except this time, Val wasn't with us. She hadn't been coming to Math Lab the past few weeks. She was always spending time with her boyfriend instead of us. We didn't talk about it much, but we knew it bothered all of us.

"Guess what today is, guys," I said with a huge grin on my face.

"What?" Britney said around a mouthful of rice.

"The 19th..." Nancy said at the same time.

"Yep, the 19. Exactly 2 months until the concert!" I giggled happily as they grinned at me and we all cheered.

"I'm so excited," Brit said.

"What if we get to meet them?" Nancy asked.

Then Brit also screamed "WHAT IF THEY PLAY THE MORTICIAN'S DAUGHTER AND REBEL LOVE SONG AND SAVIOUR OH MY GOSH" and we all had a fangirl moment and discussed the songs that we wished they would play.

Just then, Nancy's mom came home. We cleaned up our mess, grabbed our things, and went outside to the car.

After I got home that night, I did my chores, finished up my homework, took a shower, and then went to bed. I dreamed about the concert and maybe getting to meet my idols. That band really had gotten me through some tough times, and I just wanted to get the chance to thank them. I knew it wouldn't happen, but a girl can dream, right? And dream I did.

sorry, it's short and it sucks. i know. i'm sorry .-. i'm running out of ideas for the part before the concert. post-concert is gonna be good, but this beginning part is gonna be a bit lame. at least, Carolyn's part will be. the Andy part might be good, but in a sad way .-. okay i'm done talking now. thank you so much for reading. love you all <3
