I Guess So (Levi x Reader AU)

 Finally, the day was over and there was one person you really wanted to see. It was a Friday meaning you weren't in a rush to finish a week old assignment you forgot to turn in. So you rushed down to the school entrance to see him already waiting for him. You wrap an arm around his which startled him. But after seeing who it was, his eyes soften and he cleared his throat. You weren't sure if it was possible but he seemed to be in a lighter mood than earlier.

"So -uh um what was it that you wanted to talk about that was so important?", looking at you "unbothered."

"SHHH, we need to go incognito first, like right now" Hiding back the excitement of your big game plan. 

"My place or yours?"

"Mine, I'm pretty sure your parents are still unpacking from their trip."

"For once, you seem to have common sense."

"Me, big brain yes."

"Nevermind, I take it back."

"Oh."

T I M E  S K I P  T O  (Y/N)  H O U S E

Levi started to head to your room and getting nervous to ask something so bizarre from you. Both of you had to say something to each other and weren't aware of it. He too was looking forward to making someone jealous. When Levi and (Y/N) were walking to her house, he noticed that this was the first time in a long time that he came over to your house. Petra did not like him going to another girl's house, so he mostly talked to (Y/N) in school and through text. 

This sparked an idea in Levi's brain. What if he could get Petra to be jealous of the relationship he had with (Y/N)? This was an unusual feeling to want to invoke, but then again him ever being in a relationship was rare as it was. 

Being close to (Y/N) was a benefit, especially since people already wanted the both of you to date already with the spread of rumors. Damn brat had to be so nice to people, giving them a reason to follow her like a celebrity. Now he just needed you to act along with his scheme to grab Petra's attention. He still cared for her even if she moved on with another person. 

As you were setting down your bookbag onto the bed, he decided to speak up. Turning his head to face you.

"Wait. (Y/N) I need to talk to you first." 

(Y/N) POV

I look back to find Levi looking at me with furrowed eyebrows. Oh crap I think he figured my plan out. The jig is up. Clearing my throat, I returned a serious look at him trying to contain my guilt. Before I let my imagination run wild, he speaks up.

" Can you help me make Petra jealous?" He started but then started to look at the ceiling as if he was nervous about asking such a silly request.  "You don't have to agree to this if you don't want to, I would un-" You're eyes widened at what your best friend of years just said.

I couldn't help but smile, confusing the raven-haired boy. 

" I can't believe it. We have some type of twin telepathy I tell you. Are you kidding me, we had the same idea. I can't believe it! I'll start the preparations, oh maybe I sh-" before finishing he puts a hand on my head turning it to face him. 

"Hange's party." He says rolling his eyes. 

"Great thinking short stuff. That's where are going to do our grand debut as a flirtatious pair of people. We can't start dating out of the blue." This comment earning an irritated look from him at this nickname you gave him. He lets it slide and lets out a slow sigh.
