Chapter 6: Jealousy and a new crush?

Kokichis POV
It's been so long since I've felt good...
No, not good... Decent.
The pain I've felt these couple of days, I can't handle it anymore...
I hate to admit it, I feel weak. I hate being weak, it's one of the reasons I put on a mask...
Should I just give in? No one likes me here, only one person cares, and no one has been able to find out.

I wiped the blood off my mouth, cleaned the bloody mess, and got ready for breakfast in the dining hall. I noticed Rantaro leaning next to the wall. It seemed like he was waiting for someone.

Great, I have to deal with him... I'm so ashamed of the fact I revealed myself to him...

"Kokichi! Do you mind having a conversation with me" the avocado head said to me.
"Ughhh! Fine, but you owe me a grape Phanta!" I responded jokingly.
"Haha of course... Anyways, Kokichi. Are you... Feeling okay?" Rantaro asked me.
I hesitated to respond, "of course I feel okay! I feel fantastic, like superman!"

"Kokichi... Shuichi is getting near to finding out."

My heart dropped, he's the last person I wanted to find out...

Shuichi POV
I walked out of my room and started heading to the dining hall until I heard two voices...
I heard... Rantaro? He was saying "to find out.." What is he talking about? It seemed like he was talking to someone, but who?

I hid behind the wall so they wouldn't notice, I tried to get a peek but I couldn't see the person he's talking to.

"I talked to him yesterday, Shuichi isn't that dumb... He's smart, you should tell him." Is what I heard from Rantaros's mouth. Tell me what? And who is he talking to!?

"I'll talk to you later..."

I heard footsteps leaving the hallway, assuming one of them left the conversation. As soon as the footsteps stopped I heard coughing. Loud coughing. I heard gagging noises and liquid hitting the floor. After the liquid hit the floor, the person ran towards who knows where. I decided to get out of my hiding spot and investigate.

I knew what the scene would look like...
There was soft lavender flower peddles on top of a large amount of bright pink blood. My suspicions were correct, Rantaros knows the person with Hanahaki. I hate saying the name of the disease...

Now, I have to find where the person ran. I remember my surroundings, there was a bathroom near so I quietly walked towards there. I stepped foot in the bathroom and instantly heard someone puking in the toilet. It almost made me start gagging. I slowly walked towards the open stall... I feel... Scared?

I slowly took a step and turned my head toward the stall. I saw a person. Short purple curly hair with a white uniform... The person I hated to suspect...

"Ouma!?" I yelled out instead of screaming in my head.
"Ah!" The short boy below me screamed. I crouched beside him and comforted him.
"You're the one with Hanahaki? Are you okay!?" I began to yell.
"I... Yeah, I am! Now be quiet! I don't want anyone else to know..." He whispered harshly.
"Ouma-Kun... Do you mind telling me the person?" I said painfully.

Why do I feel hurt? He would be happy with his new lover, yet I feel jealousy. I felt like I would lose Ouma? I hated the image of seeing someone in a relationship with Ouma... But why?

"I won't tell you thaaat~" He smiled. Why is he smiling, yet he's in pain!
"Ouma..." I said disappointed.
"Ugh fine I'll tell you!" He rolled his eyes.
"R-Really!?" I said shockingly with my eyes fully open.
"No, you idiot!" He yelled and began to clean himself. Before leaving the restroom his lips opened up.

Lips... What would his lips feel like...?
I wonder...

What am I thinking!?

"I'll tell you when I'm ready. If thats alright shumai!" He said joyfully and left the room

His smile melted my heart...

Do I like Ouma!?
