Love is strength

Chapter 6

Lexa

Today wasn't the greatest the meetings were boring, I hardly saw Clarke, I didn't get to train with the Natblidas. They normally cheer up my mood. I saw those children as my own in a way.

On my way to my room I hear loud commotion from one of the girls room, Ravens. I walk in and they don't notice me yet, Raven and Luna are yelling out "Punp it!" Then Octavia and Clarke yelling "Louder!" And they keep going until the song changes, I believe they call it song.

Clarke notices me. "Welcome to the party Heda!" She yells trying to sound louder than the music. Before I can say anything she pulls me in the room and shuts the door, handing me a cup with liquid in it. "Moonshine Heda!" Oh moonshine. Do they want me to drink? I guess I won't ruin their fun, why not?

A slow type of song comes on. Octavia, Clarke and Raven give each other a excited look before they shout, "The night we met!"

Raven grabs Luna and Octavias hand and they dance together. Clarke holds out her hand to me, I take it and look at her. "Clarke I can't- I don't know how to dance" "It's alright Lexa just follow my lead" I can't resist her.

She grabs my hands and moves them to her waist then she wraps her arms around my neck and just stares up at me. She's incredible.

I start to get a hang of this "slow" dancing stuff. Once I do I just look at Clarke and admire everything about her, "Clarke I-" she cuts me off, "Shhhh." She lays her head on me and I wrap my arms around her and dance around with her.

The other three seem to be enjoying themselves, I didn't know Luna was able to love anyone, she was always cold when we were children, she kept her distance. It's nice to see someone who lost practically everything happy.

"I believe she's good for Raven" I say into Clarke's ear, "But so help me god if she hurts Raven" I mumble. Ravens been through a lot too and she deserves to be happy, I don't want anyone taking that away from her.

After several drinks and dancing around all the girls passed out Octavia on the couch next to Ravens bed, Raven and Luna on the bed. Clarke on the floor. Someone had to make sure they were all okay after tonight so I only had two cups of moonshine.

I pick Clarke up in my arms like a baby and carry her to my room and lay her in the bed. I cover her up with furs and kiss her on the forehead.

I go to get changed into a gown and afterwards lay with Clarke. I crawl under the furs and wrap my arms around her digging my head between her neck and shoulder. She's so much more than amazing. "Goodnight, Clarke." I whisper and slowly fall asleep.

I really wish they could have this life, they ALL deserve it. I hope the song part was good, I wanted to go with throwbacks, sorta.
