Sora, Yoshi, and I sat in the living room of the hotel room Tadashi Sensei booked. We all were allowed a room to ourselves. It must have been expensive, but he insisted on paying. Something about 'wanting to take care of our needs before we are shipped off to hell'. I'd figure he must've said that just to scare us. Exactly how bad could an exam get?

Yoshi plopped down flatly on the couch next to me. His feet rested on my lap as I flipped through the channels of the T.V. He was staring at the ceiling, seemingly lost in a day dream. Sora sat on the floor lazily. He propped his elbow up on the coffee table where he rested his head on his hand.

"So are you going to pick a show or what?" Sora stared on boredly. It was funny to see how his personality changed from when we were in public to when it was just us. "You're kind of boring me."

When he'd been around others, he'd turn very stiff. He was formal and put on the illusion of perfection. Then when he was alone with just Yoshi and I, he slouched in his seat. He became this happy and carefree boy. He hadn't any need to worry about his words, they would naturally pile out. He'd also smile and laugh with ease. He joked almost as much as Yoshi. His father wanted him to be competitive, to out perform us. But Sora held to much care and kindess towards his friends. He was much more expressive than I, something that I hadn't expect from Sora when I first met him.

"Everything looks bland," I shrugged. I didn't typically watch T.V unless it was with Yoshi or Shikadai.

"Let me get the remote," Yoshi and Sora both said at the same time. We hadn't even thought Yoshi was paying attention.

Yoshi sat up, leaning his body towards the remote in my hand. Sora held one end of the remote, while Yoshi held the other. They both stared at one another, wondering who would give the remote up first. Yoshi smirked, "Alright whoever lets go last, gets it."

"Deal," Sora agreed. Normally, I'd glare at them for doing this right over me, but it was amusing to see. These two had no rivalry, but we found it fun making up dumb games such as this. Sure, we were ninja, but we were still weird kids.

"I think Hashiro got into the trashcan," Sora tried.

"Nice try, but my partner isn't a heathen," Yoshi shrugged. Then the blonde's eyes suddenly lit up with mischief. "Say, Sora, there's something on your face."

"That's a pretty amateur attempt," Sora commented, shaking his head at our cheerful teammate.

"You're right," Yoshi trailed off, "let me get it for ya instead." Then without warning, the Blonde leaned forward and licked an unexpecting Sora right on the cheek. Sora was immediately throw off, letting go of the controller.

"That was a dirty move," Sora muttered, calmly wiping at his face with the end of his shirt. He didn't seem bothered by Yoshi's spit at all, more annoyed that he reacted out of surprise and lost. I've seen the two share the same straw before, a little spit wasn't going to hurt him.

In all honesty, Yoshi was like the mother of the group, a very silly and rambunctious one. He'd wipe crumbs off our faces or fix a stray hair, because despite his personality he was neat. More so, he was extremely protective of his teammates, which is why he is so quick to defend me against Boruto or Moeru.

"Hehe, guess I'm choosing what we watch," Yoshi smiled happily and patted Sora's head once before leaning back into the couch.

In the end we sat and watched some strange animated show. One with this kid wearing a weird, white bunny hat. His best friend was a dog who's body was elastic and could turn into all sorts of shapes and sizes. Another fact, Yoshi had weird tastes.
