"Remember when I said 'I love you' for the first time?" I asked.
"Of course! I do." She bragged. Her smile reached both of her ears. "It was the start of us."
"Then do you remember when you said you'll never let go?"
The proud smile on her beautiful face vanished instantly.
"How could I forget that?" Her voice was shaking when she said, "It was the end of us."
