Based on the song 'Say you won't let go.'

'I met you in the dark, you light me up.'

The rain beat against the roof of the Agreste Manor. In the kitchen, stood a man who was just dancing to music. In his arms was a little girl who was giggling happily at the movement her daddy did.

Adrien had his arms wrapped around his young daughter. Only a year old, Emma was already a daddy's girl. He gently swung her in his arms, letting her happy smiles lead him forward.

Marinette, who was leaning against the door saw her husband of 3 years and her daughter dancing. The song rhythm bringing her back to when they first heard it.

'Then you smiled over your shoulder.'

The song randomly played on her playlist. Adrien was laying on her bed. She was sitting on her desk, designing an outfit that she would eventually wear to The Agreste Winter Gala.

Adrien and Marinette had accidentally revealed their identities 3 weeks before. It was extremely difficult yet easy to transition their partnership to their civilian selves. They both decided, with a little hesitation that they would wait to be together.

The quiet sounds of the guitar filled the room. Adrien, being a musician picked up the tune easily. He started humming. Marinette looked at him, the sounds of his humming creating butterflies in her chest.

As the music contained, he began singing. To her surprise, Adrien didn't even realize he was singing.

'I knew I loved you then.'

The evening of the Agreste Winter Gala arrived faster than most expected. Gabriel Agreste Fashion Line created the newest style line. It was the pure mix of fresh love turned cold storm, said People's magazine.

Adrien, who was forced to come, had to beg his father to allow him to bring a date that he chose. Knowing his father, Gabriel would've made his date Lila or Chloe. Adrien shudders at the thought. His smile bloomed at the thought of seeing his lady as his date. She never let him see her dress. He doesn't even know the color. She had specially given Natalie a note that showed a picture of her dress.

After ringing the Dupain-Cheng doorbell, Adrien realized he was more nervous than he thought. The small flowers in his hands were shaking. He looked down to check if he looked okay. Natalie had given him a black suit with a light pink tie. The blazer was altered to fit him perfectly. The pants were cut off at the button, drawing attention to his no longer orange sneakers.

'I'll wake you up with some breakfast in bed.'

The sound of the doorbell made both her mother and Marinette jump. Her mother smiled, excited that her daughter was finally going on her very first date with the guy that she has been dreaming of.

"Marinette, there's someone at the door." Her father yelled, giddily.

Her mom kissed the top of her head. "You look amazing, dear. I am going head downstairs so your father doesn't embarrass himself or you.

Marinette watched as her mother descended the stairs.

Marinette signed, ready as she felt. She touched up her lipstick, a light pink that matches her eyeshadow,

Looking herself in the mirror, she feet confident. Confidence as Ladybug should be.

'When you looked over your shoulder'

Adrien watched as the lady of his dreams came down the steps. Her pink dress shimmered as she walked. She looked beautiful as can be.

Marinette giggled as she saw the expression that was on Adrien's face. His eyes were wide as saucers and his mouth had dropped almost immediately.
