I just want to fall in love

Marinette walked with Adrien's umbrella over her head. Her hair was wet. She tried wringing her hair out. Looking back, she didn't realize how bad the rain was going to be. She was just trying to get some new fabrics for her designs but sadly the weather had other ideas.

"Marinette, what are you doing out here. It's freezing." A voice came from above. Marinette looked up. There stood Chat Noir perching on a lamppost.

"Hello Chat Noir. I was just walking home. I didn't realize it was going to rain this early so I thought I could get some errands done." she spoke.

He brought his baton down and motioned to himself. "Marinette, come along, I'll give you a ride. We wouldn't want you to go to cat-ch a cold."

Looking him dead in the eyes, she glared. "Very funny," she muttered as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Hold tight, little lady."

They jumped from rooftop to rooftop, rain droplets falling all around them. Marinette smiling into his chest. Her partner, whether he knew it or not certainly knows how to make a girl feel like she was flying.

As they came down to her balcony, he set her gently. "Stay safe, Marinette, and keep being pawsome." He left, waving as he yelped through the gray skies.

After Marinette took her shower and combed through her hair, still as wet as can be. She sat down, holding her cat pillow to her chest.

"Tikki, do you think that I can like Luka while still getting over Adrien. I just really want to be happy, Tikki. No one makes my heart flutter like Adrien yet no one makes me feel as safe as Chat Noir. Luka is great and all, but is he what I want. I just want to fall in love and stay in love. Is it that hard?" Marinette cried into her pillow.

Tikki, who was in Marinette's purse when Chat Noir was there, smiled. "I can't tell you how you feel Marienette. Let me just tell you this, if you truly love the first boy, you wouldn't have fallen for the second. Do what you want with this information, Marinette. I promise you, everything will work out in the end." Tikki kissed her head.

Soon, Marinette cried herself to sleep where she imagined snakes and cats fighting for their prey.
