When I first saw you, you were dancing darling,
Dancing the night away.
With you long flowing dress,
And you hair neatly pressed,
All you're troubles had gone away.

With that raven haired boy,
Who treated you like a toy,
But you loved him either way.
When you looked at me,
Your smile didn't leave,
But it greeted me with warmth.
I looked into your sparkling eyes ,
Where happiness never died,
And I was instantly drawn.
