Kami's Angel

Third POV

Naruto woke up 4 hours later in the forest of death with no one around. He got up and checked himself over making sure that there were no more open wounds. When he was sure he was ok he started walking deeper into the forest not wanting to go back to the village just yet.

About 30 minutes of walking later he stumbles upon a very pretty clearing with a weeping willow tree in the middle of it. He walks over and decides to sit down in the shade of the beautiful weeping willow and sing about sasuke, his crush (they met through Itachi when Naruto was 4).

His voice attracted the attention of most of the animals in the vicinity, and pretty soon they were all gathered around him listening to his sad song.

His voice also attracted the attention of a certain goddess who had been busy trying to find a human suitable to be her son. (Don't ask me why let's just say she got bored of being alone and couldn't have kids of her own).

As she listened to his beautiful voice she was also going through his memories since she had sensed an overwhelming amount of sadness coming from him. And what she found had disgusted her, she was enraged that her creations were capable of such violent actions towards an innocent child. She decided that he would be the one she would take in, and seeing as he had such horrible memories here, she didn't think he would have a problem with it.

Back with Naruto

He finished his song and decided to lay down and relax with his animal friends. Naruto and animals have always gotten along, even the big scary ones from the forest of death, so it was not unusual to him when the animals came to listen. He always felt comfortable around them.

Naruto shot up abruptly when a huge white light appeared in front of him. He was scared at first but when he saw the animals not bothered by the presence he relaxed. Then the voice spoke

"Hello Naruto Uzumaki, I am the goddess kami and I would like for you to come with me and be my son"

He seemed to think for a moment before nodding his head and said "I will come on one condition, I want to be able to come back and visit my plant and animal friends"

Kami was a bit surprised when she heard this because she thought that he would want to leave everything of this world behind, but she agreed nonetheless. So Naruto got up and took her outstretched hand.

When they arrived

Naruto was a bit disoriented at first but after a second of catching his balance he looked and saw a beautiful house. it was not what he had expected the goddess would live in, it was a small cottage with two bedrooms and two baths. He looked up at the goddess and she said that she didn't want to live in a big fancy house if it was only going to be the two of them. He nodded and they set off into to house.

When he entered his room he stopped dead in his tracks and teared up. The room was so nice it was everything he had ever wanted. He was so happy that he ran up and hugged kami saying "thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!"

She smiled, picked him up and hugged him tightly. They stayed like that for a few seconds before kami said, "there is still something I want to give you" he pulled away gently before asking what it was. She only smiled a bit, which only made him more confused, before he felt a weight on his back. He turned his head only to see beautiful clear wings.
