Chapter 26- Date

Aliza's Pov-

*time skip to 7*

I opened the door and let Mitch, my date for the evening, into my house. He was wearing a pair of jeans and a blue top. Thank god I'd decided to go casual aswell. I was wearing a red top and black leggings.

"You ready to go?" He asked, studying my appearance.

I nodded, slipping my hand into his. "Lets go. Where are we going?" I asked.

"It's a suprise" He laughed.

I rolled my eyes, "I hate Suprises Mitch" I whinned.

He dragged me from the house and down the road towards the park. "Mitch where are we going?"

"Hush child"

Oh hell no he did not just call me a child. I know I'm short but still! Rude. The wind blew softly and I shivered. Although it was warm outside, the wind was cold, so very cold.

"Are you cold?" Mitch asked. I rolled my eyes. He shut up and continued walking.

"Yes I'm cold. How'd you tell?" I said sarcastically. He looked at me and laughed. "What?"

"It's obvious your cold when you let our hands go to hug yourself."

Oh. I looked down at my arms, and yes... I was hugging myself. Damn that's akward. Very very akward.

"To be honest, I didn't even realise I was hugging myself. Oops" I laughed, rubbing the back of neck.

"Well don't do that. I'm the only one that's allowed to hug you when your cold" He smiled, coming up behind me.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me close to him. I had to hold in my squeals, he was being too adorable.

He scooped me up in his arms and I let out a squeal. "That's adorable" He smiled and ran off into the park, with me still in his arms.

He eventually stopped, right outside a willow tree I didn't even know was here untill now. He put me back on my feet and pushed back the branches and gestured for me to go inside.

I entered the inside of the tree and gasped in awe. The tree trunk was strung with fairy lights, glittering a soft silver color on the trees leaves.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Mitch said, wrapping his arms around me once again.

I nodded my head, awestruck to say the least. "I was talking about you" He whispered in my ear, making me blush.

We walked over to a picnic blanket and basket and sat down. Mitch opened that basket and brought out sandwiches, chips, drink and other random foods.

"Here we go my penguin. One poorly made cheese sandwich and a packet of Salt and vingar chips" Mitch said handing me the food.

"Why thank you Benja" I smiled and bit into the sandwich. "How did you come up with all of this?"

"I just did. Jerome made the food in the picnic basket. He's not much of a cook, sorry" Mitch laughed, throwing his sandwich through the branches and far away. "That wasn't the nicest."

I laughed and after we had finished eating, we laid back on the blanket and stared up at the glowing lights.

That's when someone started strumming a guitar. Me and Mitch sat up together, I looked confused where as Mitch looked happy. Tyler emerged from behind the trees playing the guitar.

That's when he started to sing. He took my hands in his and smiled.

We should be happy, that's what I said from the start

When we pulled away, I smiled at him.

"I love you Aliza" He said, resting his forehead against mine.

"I love you two Mitch."
