Draco's pov
I flew long and hard when i start to hear wingbeats nearby. I perk up my Nightfury ears and listen around. Above me wingbeats sounded, but it was hard to tell what type of dragon. I flap hard to clear the clouds and i see a familiar golden dragon with a man ontop her back. I soar foward and i cry out in suprise," Dad! Is that you riding Winter?" He turns and jumps so far he darn near falls back as he pulls back to slow Winter down." Daughter, how?" " the Wingmaidens helped me survive. I spent a few months recovering my strength before leaving with Snotlout in tow." He laughs," No wonder hiccup was so suprised to come back with Snotlout so quickly." I smile as i land on my dragons back and gently run her scales," thank you for taking care of her in my abscence also call me Draco" Viggo smiles," a fitting name for a fitting warrior." I smile and i turn winter and we fly for the Edge. A few hours later i see the edge and i say," well i hope hiccup forgives me for flying away when i dropped off snotlout." Viggo laughs," hiccups been brainstorming that for days." I chuckle as we land and i climb off winter. Suprisingly after being gone for so long it felt good to be home. A year.
That's how long i was gone, trapped in a hunters ship, nearly killed and my recovery. A whole year my family of humans thought i was dead. I spread my wings, flaring them to thier full length of 50 feet. My fin-fledged tail spreading with ease as i flap and take off, flying for the clubhouse. I land on the landing platform and after so long unleashed my roar, a unique blend of a yell and a Furies roar. An answering roar fills the sky and toothless pounces on me and he starts licking me, saying afterword," I knew you were alive! Hiccup wouldn't believe me, your alive!" I smile and laugh as the dragon climbs off and I stand up with a smile. The group comes out and hookfang, plus snotlout come out smirking and i can't help but chuckle as smiles covered the others faces and i say," it's been a year, i finally felt ready to come home." It was good to be back on this crazy rock.
