I slowly exhaled pushing the double wooden doors open that led to a small looking bar, filled with at least a dozen mid 40s looking men; with all of their eyes looking in my direction. Without any hesitation I headed to an empty seat and started to scan the room for a one and only 'Daniel Elkin'.
"Hello. What can I get you young lady?" Asked a young bartender with blonde hair and a hideous shirt. She stood their patiently waiting for me to respond.
I looked in her general direction pondering whether or not to order a drink, "Whisky. Neat." I blurted, looking her directly in the eyes. I could hear her heart begin to race, she looked as if she wasn't breathing; as if she had completely forgotten how to breath. I brought my hand up to her face and snapped my fingers hopping to bring her back to reality.
"Oh- um. Yes, Whisky-" She exhaled, obviously in shock. She took a few steps back trying to contain her composure. I could hear her heart slowly begin to settle as she walking away to another customer. I watched her walk away and around to the opposite side of the bar to an old man sorting through papers; Daniel Elkins I presume.
She stood there for a minute before asking him what he wanted, "Mr. Elkins?" She asked, with her eyes following his every movement; flipping from page after page. "Would you like another?. It took him a second before he finally answered with a simple nod of the head and a quiet 'Yea". She gave him a weak smile then began to walk away to a different costumer, where the man mumbled a few words I didn't quite understand. She gave him a weak smile, "Yea poor Mr. Elkins lives all alone up the canyon-" She sighed, "Same seat every day, going through his papers making little notes. He's a nice man- he's just a nut." She smirked giving the man another beer. She took a few steps back over Daniel grabbing a bottle from under the bar and pouring him his drink.
'Where is my drink- has she forgotten about me? Or is she just to scared to talk to me?..' Were the thoughts that pondered in my head as she went to every costumer, obviously avoiding my seat. There was a quiet rumble coming from the two wooden doors, when a group of people came rustling in it was quite obvious in me that the were vampires and it seems it was to Daniel too.
They made their way to one of the only empty tables in the bar. The bartender came over to them asking what would they have; the only women with them gave her a slight smirk, "Jack all around. Leave the bottle."
The bartender look a little annoyed from what I could see but just politely responded with, "Ya hungry?" She questioned with a slightly annoyed smile.
The group of people look amongst them selves and smirked, "We have dinner plans."
The bartender exhaled, "Okay-" She walked away from the group with her hands clenched into fists. Then nodded to the older man by her, symbolizing how annoyed she was. "Can I get you something else Mr. Elkins?" She grabbed a bottle from a high shelf, she turned searching for the old man; only to see that he was gone.
"Dammit!" I blurted out, many faces turned to face me; hoping to figure out what happen. I exhaled frustratedly, getting out of my seat and heading to the doors. I turned around the bar and headed to the black motorcycle; I hoped on, putting the key into the ignition and driving off into a forst of trees.

I followed his old pick up down a gravel rode for a few miles until he came to stop at an old cabin house. He got out of his vehicle and rushed inside like something was chasing him. He looked back more then a few times out of fear, I knew he was a hunter but he's quite old; definitely not young enough to fight of an entire vampire den. I heard him slam the door behind himself, he began to rummage through stuff in search of something. Then I heard his heart beat pick up.
