Chapter 5: Airlock

It was Dhee.

No..I can't let Dhee be ejected!

Wait what? She was an impostor! She had murdered someone in electrical. Get her off the ship.

No. I won't. I'll make sure she is safe.

That's when I knew; I had a crush on her the whole time. I didn't care if she was a murderer. I was done sitting in self denial. She was still amazing. I loved her. I was surprised that I was ignoring that fact that I had one on her before. My heart was fluttering.

I could let my conscience and my love for her fight for hours, while I stand there in shock. Dhee you idiot! Why did you board the Skeld first? If you were the third person to do so, I wouldn't be in such a tight spot right now.

Dhee probably sensed my presence. I don't know if lady luck was on my side, considering that the body was reported right before she turned around, so she didn't know who saw her in medbay. But at the same time, I had just confirmed that my best friend- no, my crush, was the impostor. Either way, I ran to the cafeteria to see who Dhee had killed.

On the cafeteria table, Ray's body lay there. So it was Ray. I had wished it was Sophie, but I guess it works too. After all, my goal was to get everyone, except Dhee and I, ejected, and Sophie knows too much about everyone's current emotions.

"Cat, explain yourself. I know you had a sudden change of emotions between these two meetings. Was it the joy from killing Ray, huh?" Sophie was aggressive as usual. No matter how good she was at reading emotions, she probably didn't understand what made me feel this way. I had finally understood what I had to do! I don't even feel troubled now!

I had to get the other impostor off this ship. I can't let the other impostor convince Dhee to kill me off. It wasn't hard to figure who it was. Meena of course. She was the second to enter the ship after Dhee. Two Alien parasites probably broke out of containment and took over them.

"Meena" I said, "It's Meena."

Sophie was taken aback. She probably hadn't expected an accusation from me. "...why?"

"Sus."

"That's not even proof."

"Trust."

"Well if it's not her then Cat is getting thrown out of the airlock."

One vote from Dhee for me.

The others voted for Meena, but Meena herself hadn't voted.

Meena was probably dozing off before, because she was taken by surprise when Kira and Berry grabbed her by the arms, "Wait wha-"

Meena was an impostor.

1 impostor remains.

I could have sworn Dhee had just scowled.
