Seated beside a stranger who had his head leaning on your shoulder, you felt the immense regret of swapping seats with Kakyoin and offering to be the noble one and sit beside a total stranger, a few seats away from your companions. Unlike the other passengers who have long dozed off, you remained uncomfortably seated on your seat beside the window with the thought of sleep barely in your mind.
You simply can't think of sleeping when the thought of your mother's impending doom still lingers within the depths of your mind, just around the corner to remind you every time whenever you tried to relax. The relenting anxiety will inevitably continue to bother you until you defeated DIO. In fifty days your mother would succumb into her death, and you knew you had no time to lose. The trip to Egypt would surely be easy when you're boarding a plane instead of what? Going from country to country to get there by foot? Thankfully not.
Other than that... Kakyoin was sent to kill you and your family, the thought of an enemy boarding the same vehicle as this enemy chilled you to the bone, of course. But surely they wouldn't have known your exact location, right? I mean, the world is not small, it contains billions and billions of people, it'd be impossible to track three Japanese students, an old English man and an Egyptian Fortune teller, right?
You exhaled through your nostrils, pursuing your lips. You struggled to gently shake the stranger's head off your shoulder. You can feel the numbness surging though your shoulder and as much as you're happy of how peaceful this person slumbered, your shoulder might fall off at the end of the trip. Slowly but surely, you successfully leaned away without waking the guy up. He flinched and muttered under his breathe as he remained asleep, but at least you were finished. With a breath of relief, you leaned your head to the side and rolled your shoulder to ease the numbing pain.
Upon a newfound relief, you decided to just doze off for a little while. Perhaps maybe you'll catch some rest before battling DIO and then after that, your mother will be saved. And besides, you just came from the hospital and even if you finished recovering, you knew far too well it isn't far too over yet. Slowly lowering your eyelids, your arms crossed around your chest from the cold whilst you leaned your head to the window. It just feel so nice to slip into a state of unconsciousness within such silence however...
Buzz, buzz, buzz
The silence was disturbed.
What is that? A fly?
You thought to yourself as you vigorously looked around with furrowed brows and half-lidded eyes. Upon noticing the stirring consciousness of your companions by coincidence, your chest began to tighten.
So I'm not the only one sensing it? That's relieving but at the same time, not really.
"A rhino beetle?" Jotaro stood from his seat, observing the flying bug above the seated and slumbering passengers. "No, it's a stag beetle."
"Hey Avdol, is that a Stand? Are we encountering another Stand user?" Booms the loud voice of grandfather Joseph, a very bright contrast against the silent environment.
Nevertheless, it wasn't the thing that bothered you. the moment the word 'Stand' exits his mouth, your heart seemed to have stopped working for a moment before your heart collapsed in your stomach. Your mind went rampant of trying to focus and process things despite your mind trying to lull itself to sleep. But one thing's for sure, you can process a single thought.
"Pardon me, what?"
"It's possible. this could be a Stand that takes the shape of an insect." Avdol replies.
As your grandfather looks around and examines the flying parasite his eyes flew wide open. "What the-? It hid in the shadow of the seats!"
"Damn, it could be anywhere..." The user of Magician's red commented.
