I walked down the moving staircase and Fred shouted me, I turned around and he had the biggest smile on his face then he stopped infront of me "I never gave you your birthday present from me." I laughed "You did" I lifted my hand showing him the ring "No that was from me and George, I mean the present I got for you from just me." he took a long box from his pocket and handed it to me. I opened it and it was a necklace with a small clear rose in it "The colour of the rose changes depending on what you're feeling because I put an enchantment on it." I hugged him and he picked me up, my heart started pounding and when he put me down he was blushing. "Help me put it on?" I handed him the necklace and turned around he put the necklace on me and kissed my cheek the rose turned red so I held it and pretended it wasn't red. "Thanks Fred it is absolutely gorgeous I hugged him one more time and ran off to meet Oliver.
"Hey Oliver!" he turned around and handed me a badly wrapped gift "I know I can't wrap presents" we laughed together and I opened the gift. "A new broom! REALLY! OLIVER ITS PERFECT!" I hugged him and he asked "Wanna try it out?" I jumped up and screamed "Erm yes obviously!" we both got on our brooms and had a small quidditch practice. "Thank you Oliver! You're the best friend I could ever have asked for." We flew back down to the ground and he hugged me "I heard about what happened in potions, What are you going to do?" I was hoping he didn't ask that. "I don't know I love Ron but I love Fred aswell, with Ron I feel safe but when I'm with Fred I can't stop smiling and they're bound to find out because Fred gave me this necklace that changes colour based on my mood." I lifted the necklace out of my shirt and showed him. "The necklace is light green. What's that?" I looked down at the necklace and said "Confused." he just sighed "I've seen you with both of them and they both love you." I sighed back "But who do I pick? Ron is such a sweet and funny guy but Fred is protective and funny and not to mention one of the most caring people I have ever met. I just don't want to ruin my friendship with one of them and their relationship because they're brothers." I sat down and looked at the necklace. "I didn't know you felt like that." Fred was standing behind me "Fred?" I didn't turn to look at him because he would see the necklace that was glowing bright red, I looked up at Oliver who saw the necklace and he began giggling like a little girl. "Yes darling it's me. I came to get you, you have to get changed into something nice and meet us in the courtyard." I turned to him and said "Erm, why?" he looked at the necklace and laughed "It's a surprise and I knew you loved me." he winked once more and then walked off. I looked at Oliver who shrugged his shoulders and then I ran off to my dorm.
I wore the dress Molly had given me for my birthday with black heels that had sparkly black bottoms, I was still wearing the snake ring and the necklace and then I sprayed myself with the perfume from Ron. I walked down the stairs being extremely careful I didn't fall. When I walked out into the courtyard Molly was stood there with George, Fred, Ginny and everyone. I ran over and hugged her. "I have missed you so much!" she looked at me and said "Are you ready?" I was very confused so I just looked at her and raised an eyebrow "What for?" George smiled before grabbing my hand and spinning me round "Your birthday party!" I opened my mouth shocked "Really?! Yes!!" we all went to the burrow.
The party had been going on for around 2 hours and I walked out to get some fresh air. "Having a good time?" Fred asked me as he followed me "Yes I'm having a wonderful time!" I replied "I bet!" Ron stood behind me and I turned around to face him. "What's that supposed to mean?" he just looked at me with a disgusted expression "What do you think Hannah? I'm in love with you and you're out here getting cosy with Fred. You never loved me, did you?" he looked at me and then Fred and then me. "Ron, Where is all of this coming from? Of course I love you but I love Fred to and you can't help who you fall in love with." Ron stormed off "We are over!" he screamed and Fred turned me around to face him "You're falling in love with me?" He smiled "Yes, but I don't know who to choose you or Ron."
He looked at me and then at the necklace "I have an idea." he said still looking at the necklace "think about Ron" I began thinking about Ron "and now think about me" I did what he told me to "now open your eyes, you just made your decision." I opened my eyes and looked at him "What?" he smiled "When you thought of Ron the necklace was a dull red but when you thought of me it went very bright, meaning you love me more" I looked away from him and he said "If you still don't know here let me help you." he put his finger under my chin and turned my head to him he then pointed my chin up and I looked deep into his brown eyes he leaned forwards and kissed me, his hand moved from my chin along my neck and into my hair. I slid my hands up his chest and held the back of his neck as he put his other hand on my lower back pulling me closer to him and grabbing and pulling my hair with his right hand. We were interrupted when George came out and coughed. "Everyone left." I looked at Fred and then at George and we all laughed. "Mum says you're staying here tonight Hannah." George said then he walked back inside.
Me and Fred followed him "Hannah dear you're staying in Ron's room tonight." Molly said as I walked into the living room "Oh erm Mrs Weasley?" she looked at me "Sorry, Molly, things are a little awkward between me and Ron right now we sort of broke up." she sat next to me "Tell me everything." she handed me a cup of tea "Wait go and put some pyjamas on." I walked upstairs and went into Fred and George's room "Can I stay in here tonight?" they both nodded with smiles on their faces "Oh wait Hannah you don't have anything to sleep in." George said and he looked at Fred. "Here wear this." Fred gave me his quidditch hoodie and a pair of shorts. "Thanks, could you turn around please?" they both turned around "Done!" I said and they turned back round, "Why do you look better in my clothes than I do?! It's not fair." Fred moaned. Me and George laughed at him "I'll be up soon hopefully, me and Molly are going to have a girly talk first." I walked out of the room and George shouted "See you next year!" I laughed and then sat back down with Molly "Are those Fred's?" She winked at me "Yes I didn't have any pjs here." she pulled a weird face "Ah, Okay. Anyway tell me everything." She put her hand on my knee and I told her everything. "It sounds like you love them both but I don't think Ron loves you anymore. I say go with Fred!" she laughed and then said "You should probably go to sleep, you're back at Hogwarts tomorrow!" I nodded and yawned.
I fell asleep with Fred holding home his lips on my forehead and George laid behind us snoring.
