Being Drista's Best Friend

Chapter 2

The Next Day

3:30 PM

Ding! My phone rang.

Youtube: Watch Dream live in 30 minutes!

Yay! I would get to watch his manhunt live! I ran downstairs and got a bunch of snacks so I could watch his manhunt and the extra scenes video without getting hungry.

(skip ahead 25 minutes)

It's starting! I started watching it and it was crazy! Dream found a villiage right away. He got the blacksmith chest. He got an iron sword, iron chestplate, and 3 diamonds. He killed the hunters right away. Dream did this really crazy play! When got in the nether, he was above a lava pool, so he crafted a door, jumped into the lava, and placed the door so he was safe! Then he broke the door and started mining into the floor of the nether so BadBoyHalo, Antfrost, GeorgeNotFound, and Sapnap couldn't get him. It was super cool. He is so smart. I don't know he comes up with these things. It's unbelievable. Anyways, I finished watching the video and Dream had won! I watched the extra scenes video and then hopped on the my pc to play Minecraft. I opened Butterly Bliss and decided to make a secret nether base today. I searched the nether for blackstone, and I found about a stack. I was gonna make it out of blackstone. I also needed lava, so went to the big lava lake and got 6 lava buckets. I ran back to the spot that I was gonna build my secret base and I started to build. I finished it in about 45 minutes. After that, I went back to the overworld and went to look for a pet. Eventually, I found a wolf and tamed it. We went back to my base, and I named her Freckles. I dyed her collar purple. By the time that I was done, it was time for dinner. "Y/N! Come eat!" "Coming mom!" I ran down the stairs and started eating.

7:15 PM

I was laying in bed watching WilburSoot's stream when Drista called.
"Hey Drista!"
"Hi Y/N!"
"What's up?"
"Did your mom say it was ok for you to come over?"
"Yeah she said I could, but I have to figure out the ride situation."
"Ok! We'll figure it out!"
"Ok."
"Oh by the way my brother is gonna be home while you are here, so you can't go in his room. He has to work."
"Ok! Sounds good!"
"Alright! I'll talk to you later?"
"You bet! Bye Drista!"
"Bye Y/N!"

After I hung up the phone, I continued to watch Wilbur's stream. He streamed until 11:00 so I went to bed after he ended his stream.

The Next Morning

11:00 AM

I needed to get my stuff together for Drista's house. I got together the new outfit that I had purchased a few days before and put it on. It was a black crew neck, jeans, a new necklace, and vans. I grabbed a few more outfits, my phone charger, my laptop, and a few other things. I pulled my bag over my shoulder and walked out the door after I told my mom and dad goodbye. I rode my skateboard there. I couldn't ride it back to my house because it was supposed to rain.

15 minutes later...

I made it to Drista's house and knocked on the door. Drista let me in and we ran up the stairs to her room. I threw my bag on the floor and I sat on her bed. "You know what I just realized Drista?" "What?" " I don't think I've ever met your brother and we have been best friends for 4 years." "Yeah. He is usually working at his house." "Oh. That makes sense. You wanna go skateboarding?" "Yeah that sounds like a good plan!" " Ok. Lets go!" "Ok Y/N! You don't have to be so bossy. Just kidding." "Haha. C'mon!" We went outside and went to the skate park. There were some boys from school there. "Hey Jack!" "Hey Y/N!" "Hey Ben!" "Hey Drista!" Drista, Jack, Ben, and I did a bunch of tricks, for about an hour. Then we decided to go to the dairy bar to get ice cream. "What does everyone want?" I said. "I'll have a peanut butter ice cream," said Jack. "I'll have a chocolate ice cream," said Drista. "I'll get a vanilla ice cream," said Ben. "I'll get a chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream please," I said. "Your total will be $6.19," the cashier told us. "I'll pay for it," I offered. I paid for our ice cream, and then we went outside and ate it. After we were done eating our ice cream, we said goodbye to Jack and Ben. Drista and I went back to her house and we walked in through the garage. When we walked in the door, Drista's mom and some random man were talking. "Who is that," I asked Drista. "That's my brother," Drista whispered to me. We snuck past her mom and brother and then started to walk up the steps. All of a sudden I hear a VERY familiar voice. "Yeah, there is a freaking war going on. They are crazy. The child is even trying to steal my stuff," said the familiar voice. I couldn't quite place who Drista's brother sounded like. All of a sudden it hit me. "YOUR BROTHER IS DREAM?!?!" I yelled at Drista. "Dang it. We were trying to keep it a secret," said Drista. "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?" I asked. "He didn't want anyone to know," she said. "I'M LIKE HIS BIGGEST FAN!" I exclaimed. Suddenly, Drista's door opened. "I heard someone say my name?" said Dream. "Wait it's really you? Dream?" I asked, shocked. "Yes. That's me. Call me Clay. What's your name?" He asked. "I'm Y/N," I said shakily. "Wanna see my set up?" He asked me. "Sure!" I said. We looked at his set up and it was so cool. After that Drista and I watched some scary movies and went to bed. When we woke up, something was wrong.
