Being Drista's Best Friend

Chapter 4

After Eret walked away, I decided to go to sleep. After about 10 minutes of laying in my bed I fell asleep.

2 hours later...

I woke up to a sound. I looked around my room and saw a shadow. "Hello?" I asked to the shadow. "Hello. Come with me. I have something to show you," the shadow said. "Who are you?" I asked. "I'll tell you when we get outside," said the shadow. I walked outside with the shadow and instantly realized who it is. "Techno? Where are we going?" I asked. "You'll see. Come on," He said. We walked for what felt like a eternity. "We are here. Go down the stairs," He said. We walked down the stairs and I saw some people chained up that I didn't meet yet. I realized what he was trying to do. I tried to run back up the steps, but he was too strong. I fell and blacked out.

"Finally. Took you long enough to wake up," He said, annoyed. "What are you doing?" I asked. "You see, I want to be the ruler of the smp, and I can't with Dream in my way. So I took you, Sam, Vikk, George, Sapnap, and I'm about to go get Drista and Tubbo. He'll then give me the power and I will rule the smp!" He explained. "You can't do that!" I yelled. "But the thing is Y/N, I can. I can do whatever I want because I have leverage," He said to me. "You won't get away with this!" I yelled as he walked away, laughing maniacally.

About 30 minutes later, he returned with Tubbo, and Drista was draped in his arms because he knocked her out. "What did you do?" I yelled at him. "She was being feisty," He said. He walked over to my cell, chained Tubbo up next to me, and walked out. Then he put Drista in a cell across the hall. He chained her to the wall, shut her cell door, and then left us. "Why does he need us?" I asked, sobbing. "I don't know, but I'm scared," Tubbo said. I hung my head in defeat. "It's because you guys are here," Sam said. I looked at him. "What's that supposed to mean?" I said, with attitude. "You aren't supposed to be here and he wants answers," Sam responded. We talked for a little bit more about the subject, and then I fell asleep.

1 day later...

"Wake up! It's time for food," Techno yelled. "How long was I sleeping?" I whispered to Tubbo. "A little over a day," he responded. Drista was still out cold. "Leave Drista alone, I don't want to deal with her right now. Anyways, you each get 3 pieces of bread. Be thankful that you even get food," Techno said. He threw each person 3 pieces of bread through the bars. He walked up the stairs and disappeared.

Techno POV

Those girls shouldn't be here. "Wilbur!" I yelled. "Yes?" He asked. "Go tell Dream that I have Y/N, Drista, Tubbo, Sam, Vikk, Sapnap, and George. Tell him that I want to be the ruler of the smp, and if he says no, all of the hostages are dead," I said. "Will do!" Wilbur said back. He walked away and I went to check on the people because I heard screaming. I walked down the eerie spiral staircase and got to the basement. "What's going on?" I said, harshly. "Where am I?" Drista yelled. "Sam! Explain it to her. I don't really want to deal with this right now," I said. I walked back up the stairs and sat down, waiting for Wilbur to return.

Dream POV

I was looking for Sam so he could teach me how to do something with redstone when Wilbur ran up to me. "Techno has taken Y/N, Drista, Sam, Vikk, Tubbo, George, and Sapnap. He wants to be the ruler of the smp. If you say no, they are all dead," Wilbur said to me. "Oh god. Let me talk to someone and I'll let you know. Meet me at Purpled's UFO in an hour. Got it?" I said. "Ok. See you in an hour," he said, and walked away. With that knowledge, I ran around to find Tommy. I found him in his house listening to Mellohi. "Tommy! We have a problem!" I said, scaring him. He quickly took Mellohi out of the jukebox, and put it in an ender chest. "What?" Tommy asked. "Why'd you put Mellohi away?" I asked. "Umm we kind of had a whole war over it," he said. "Yeah. Anyways, Techno and Wilbur have a bunch of people and Techno wants to be the ruler of the smp," I said. "WHAT? Who does he have?" Tommy asked, shockingly. "Drista, Y/N, Sam, George, Sapnap, Vikk....and Tubbo," I said. "WHAT? WHAT HAPPENS IF HE DOESN'T BECOME THE RULER?" Tommy asked angrily. "They all die," I said, grimly. "It's not even a question. You have to let him be the ruler. It's not a choice," Tommy said. "I say we trick him. Make him sign a book that makes him give us everyone, but I'm still the ruler of the smp," I said. "That's a good idea," Tommy says. "I have to meet Wilbur in 5 minutes. Make the book while I'm gone," I say. "Ok. We can't let them die," Tommy says. I walked to the UFO to meet with Wilbur. It was time.
