Hermione knocked on the door. She heard footsteps from inside and then, "Hermione dear!" Mrs. Weasley gave Hermione a bone-crushing hug. "How are you?" Mrs. Weasley asked as she released her.

"Good." She responded softly. Hermione heard more footsteps approaching. "Hermione!"Ginny said, pulling Hermione into a tight hug. She then heard Ron's voice from behind Ginny's. "Hermione!" He joined in the hug. Suddenly she felt two more people join the hug. "Hello, Granger," George and Fred said in unison as everyone released her from the group hug. She smiled at them. "Hey everyone, is Harry here?"

Mrs. Weasley shook her head. "No, but he'll be here in a couple of days. In fact your just in time for dinner. Fred, George grab Hermione's bags." Before Hermione could respond, Ginny dragged her to the dining room and they sat down on the long table. "Hermione I'm so excited you're here! I've been wanting to talk to you all summer. Bill, Fleur, Charlie, and Percy are home for the holiday so I've been wanting to talk to someone who I'm not related to. And I can't talk to Luna because she's traveling with her father." Ginny said. Hermione nodded as Ginny talked her ear off.

Everyone started to trickle into the dining room. Bill and Fleur sat next to each other, Mr.Weasley sat at the head of the table, Percy sat on the other side of Ginny, Fred, and George across from Hermione, and Charlie sat on the other side of Hermione. As Ron entered the room, he frowned as he saw there were no empty seats near Hermione.

While everyone started to eat, Ginny started to gossip with Hermione.

"Hermione, did you hear Padma and Seamus are dating?" She asked.

Hermione looked at her confused. "I thought he was dating Parvati."

Ginny shook her head. "He and Parvati broke up and then Seamus started dating Padma. I also heard that Draco and Pansy broke up." Hermione looked up as Ginny said this. Ginny nodded to confirm that her statement was true. "Apparently he's interested in a certain muggle-born student," Ginny whispered to Hermione and then winked. Hermione felt her cheeks go red. "How do you know all this?" Hermione asked, not entirely sure that this was true and that Ginny was just messing with her. Before Ginny could respond, Mrs. Weasley spoke up. "So Hermione, do you fancy any boys?" Hermione was alarmed by this question and so were the others as all eyes landed on Hermione. "Um, no one in particular." She said as she took a drink of water, shyly.

Mrs. Weasley smiled at her. "Maybe one day you'll fancy one of my sons so then you can officially become a Weasley." Hermione nearly choked on her water. What did she just say?

"You know I'm very tired from my trip so I'm just gonna go to bed." Hermione quickly excused herself and practically sprinted up the stairs. All eyes turned from Hermione to Mrs. Weasley. "Did I say something?" Mrs. Weasley asked, oblivious. Fred and George just smirked. "Great mum. Now you scared her off."

Hermione woke up in the middle of the night. She looked at the clock in Ginny's room. It was two in the morning. Hermione quietly walked to the door, as to not wake up Ginny. She went downstairs and walked into the kitchen. She grabbed a glass from the cupboard and was about to fill it with water when she heard a voice behind her. "What are you doing up?"

Hermione jumped at the voice and turned around. It was from Charlie Weasley. "Oh just grabbing some water." She responded as she turned back and filled it with water. Charlie sat down at the kitchen table. "You know my family talks a lot about you," He said staring at her. "Especially Ron. He seems to fancy you." He said, studying her face. Her face was turning as red as his hair. "Do you fancy him back?"
