The wind blew softly through the sails of the old ship. This ship, formerly named "The Stardust" is docked at the port of Morioh. Up in the Crow's Nest, stood a very pretty woman.
"Hey Holly! Come down from there! It's dangerous!" A tall and handsome older gentleman, who seemed to be of british descent, walked out of the captain's quarters, carrying a map. He looked up to the woman, Holly.
"Papa, you know I'm not a child anymore, right?" She climbed down from the crows nest, observing her father and the maps he held.
"Of course Holly, but you will always be my precious daughter. Always." He gave her a peck on her forehead, then called out for another crewmate, Avdol. "AVDOL! Where are you?! I need help with these maps!" A few seconds later, from the dock, came an African American male, dressed in what at first glance appeared to be a dress, but upon further inspection you would realize it was just a robe like shirt.
"I'm right here Mr. Joestar. I've received news from the dock members that Dio is at it again. This time he sank British merchant ships. Are you sure it is safe to keep traveling?" Avdol questioned.
"Of course it is. If Dio is near Britain and England then we are fine. Nothing to worry about. Now help me out with this." He laid the maps out on the table in the captain's quarters, where the two men had moved. Outside, there was hustle and bustle. Crewmates and dock members moving supplies on and off the ship, and specialty crewmates tidying up. Loud footsteps could be heard coming onto the ship, and the clink of belts followed suit.
"I said leave me alone! I don't want any part of your contract or loyalty you wanker!" A very angry voice shouted, presumably to someone who followed him onto the ship.
"It is my job to follow and protect you sir." A very soft but deep voice replied. A very loud groan was the tall man's reply.
"Mom, can you get this guy off my ass? He's been following me since I went to a merchant's row." The tall man walked over to Holly, gasping in exhaperance.
"Oh Jotaro honey, this man isn't a bother. Who did you say you were Hon?" She spoke kindly to the man who followed her son, Jotaro. He bowed deeply and respectfully.
"Pleasure to meet you ma'am. I am known as Star Platinum. I have been summoned by the universe to follow and serve under the loyalty of Jotaro Kujo. I hate to be so forward, but may I speak to your captain?" Star stood back up after finishing his sentence. Thudding footsteps approached and Star Platinum found a pistol being shoved in his face. The man standing at the end of this gun, happened to be another African American male, with a fancy coat on. His belt was strung with more guns, and what appeared to be small sacks of gunpowder.
"Who are you? Why are you here? What business do you have on The Stardust?" He spoke firmly, shoving the barrel of the gun onto Star's nose. Holly gently grabbed the wrist of the man, speaking softly.
"Red, it's okay. He's fine. He has seemingly swore loyalty to Jotaro, like you did to Avdol. Please put your gun away." Red, or more known as Magician's Red, slowly loosened his grip on the pistol, and returned it to a safe state and back in his belt.
"I see. I do not trust you. But welcome, chosen one." He grunted, folding his arms neatly across his chest. From the captain's quarters emerged the two men from before, Avdol and Captain Joestar. A smaller, skinnier male led them. He stuck close to the captain, his spyglass clinking softly against his thigh.
"What is all this commotion about?" Joestar roared. He looked around then spied Star Platinum, immediately placing his right hand on his sword hilt. "Who are you?" he demanded. Star bowed, and stood up raising his hands in the air.
"I bring no harm sir, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I have come with young Jotaro, to pledge my loyalty to him. He has yet to accept it." Star spoke formally and softly. Joestar released his grip on the hilt of his sword, and sighed.
"Okay, I suppose that is alright. But Jotaro, my boy, why have you not accepted his request? It's wonderful to have such special members around." He spoke from experience, gesturing to the timid, short boy beside him. This pale male's name is known to be Hermit Purple, or he goes by Purp for short.
"I don't need another wanker sticking his nose up my ass all the time. Tell him to leave me alone." He sighed, pulling his hat over his eyes. His grandfather sighed, turning back to Star.
"You can stay for now. But prove your worth on this ship or else you'll be swimming with Davy Jones." He warned. Star nodded in thanks. The next few minutes involved everyone dispersing into their own zones and spaces on the ship. Jotaro went up to the helm and steering wheel, while Avdol went back to the captain's quarters to chart a course through the open sea. Footsteps came thudding on the ramp to the ship, a Speedwagon Foundation crew member screeched to a halt in front of the captain.
"A letter, for you!" He held a scroll type letter in his hand, panting from the running. His sword clanked against the top of his boots. Joestar grabbed it, thanked the crewmate who then ran away, and opened it.
'Dear Captain Joestar,
For whatever reason it may concern you, I have been following the movements of Captain Dio and he has stolen more of the immortal jewels from the Island of Rosetta. My informant has notified me that he has gathered more people, and an excess amount of "specialty crew members". He has begun to gather more ships. Taking ships and treasure from those he sinks. It has been said that he is still trying to find you, and has gathered three more ships to his armada. The first and main one he protects, is 'The God'. It's bigger than 'The Stardust' but not as fast. The second one is called 'Strength'. It is a ship meant for capturing people and tearing down other ships. Please be careful around 'Strength'. Third is called 'Fortune'. This ship is speedy, faster than 'The Stardust' but not as big. It also has prison cells in their hull, so be vigilant. Lastly, I'm being told is 'Gemstone'. A tiny little ship, slightly bigger than a dingy really. It may be small but it is very speedy, so it sneaks up on ships. This is all the information my informant has gathered without breaking cover. Please be on your toes and keep your eyes peeled.
Sincerely,
********* At The Speedwagon Foundation
